Since it's the last day of 2019, I thought I'd post a selection of some of the Milex fics on AO3 that I've really enjoyed reading this year. So, in no particular order, here are some of my faves:

Joie de Vivre by @gasdancer

This fic is sooo good, really vivid writing with the perfect combo of smut, angst and feels - I cried at the end.

An Evening in London by @richiebrook

Another one that made me cry, this story has so much atmosphere and is full of beautiful evocative writing.

A Wonderful Week by @fiireside

An amazing montage of some of the best bits of the TLSP2 tour, I love this fic, I smiled all the way through :)

A Trip into a Dream by WeirdChick333 / @girlinthepictureframe

Have been loving this story so far, amazing characterisation and epic levels of tension with a brilliantly realistic enemies to lovers trope!

Picture Book by @richiebrook

This one is full of warm, cosy autumn feels, really sweet and heartwarming :)

The Foro Sol Incident by @tightredpants

Realistically written, I really loved the sad and angsty feels in this story.

Saturn's Return by @fiireside

Beautiful montage of emotional moments: smiles, angst, tears, romance - this story has everything :)

Something to Rely On by Acrobaticblood / @shes-thunder-storms

This one packs a lot of feels into a very small space; a poignant blend of sadness and hope which I really like :)

The Galaxy's Edge by @richiebrook

This fic is absolutely gorgeous - beautiful floaty imagery, plenty of angst and emotion, but with humour too; this is a moving story about love and identity :)

Four Times Alex and Miles Almost Had Sex, and the First Time They Did by Rhanon_Brodie / @glassjacket

I know this is an old one, but I read it for the first time this year and it's one of my all time favourite Milex fics ever, so it has to go on this list :)

This one’s a tribute to some of my favorite milex fics that I’ve read. Obviously not a complete list whatsoever! These are just some of the ones I’ve read over and over and can definitely see as films… More to be added. :P
