"Most of the stuff I see is with boys," He states and shrugs, not particularly interested in thinking further on it. He wasn't deeply invested in romance in the first place.

"Yeah!" He nods happily. Clearly, he was lacking her imagination and just what was burning the embers of passion in her chest. But hey, he was pleased to offer any help.

He frowns sympathetically, but perks up to match the Uma's enthusiasm. He nods. "You're welcome! Hope to see you there!"

He says, before he remembers. Oh. Right. He can't even go home himself. How could he meet her there in the first place? Yumoto quickly shakes his head, to banish the frown and gloomy thoughts from his mind.

"Her name was Tamamo-cross! She was the first one I met. she said the others are more sparkly, but I thought she was pretty sparkly!"

Was it sparkly? Something like that.

"Is she, is she? I didn't see her run, but I think she was being modest. She looked fast."

That may just be the lightning motifs doing their job in his mind, though. Why would you wear thunderbolts if you weren't super fast? That would be like lying!

He tilts his head back in thought, before nodding. "Now that I think about it, she seemed that way... She offered to lift me up like a kid. But maybe she was just super-duper strong? Are you super strong?"

"I caaan't! I have to be good with my money!" Yumoto anguishes. Without Gora to handle household finances, and without a consistent income, he can't just blow his money on cute trinkets! Even when he wanted to...

He rubs his knuckles against his temples, as if that would generate some sort of decisiveness. However, he halts at the offer, blinking.

"Eeeh? You'd do that? But we just met." He responded in shock. Pleasant shock, but shock all the same. He quickly bows in thanks. "Thank you, thank you, that's really nice of you! I'll pay you back sometime, Promise!"

He beams up at him, the burden of choice lifted from his shoulders.

"It's alright, don't worry about paying anything back — think of it as a present. You've got a lot on your mind already, so I wouldn't want to add to it by you feeling in debt, no matter how small". Besides, the two keychains would surely be happy staying together, that feeling shouldn't be soured by a heavier sentiment.

He shakes his head.

"I don't have that much on my mind. I don't think unless I have to," He reassured (?) , "But if you're really, really sure, alright. Still Thank you!"

He takes both keychains into his hands, a noticeable bounce in his step. Like a child getting promised a toy by his parents. He hugs them close , beaming happily.

"It's nice to meet you Sendou-kun! I will if I need anything, I'll let you know, and if you need anything you can ask me too! That's what friends do!"

"Oh really? Yeah, I noticed that too. I got my stick back after the festival, so maybe it's whenever big things happen..?" He tilts his head in thought, twirling it absently. Big things seem to occur semi-regularly though, and he hasn't gotten much back. Maybe it was down to luck as well?

This city was weird.

"hmm, I guess that makes sense. But I wonder why they would seal it all in the first place? Is it for safety or something?"

He wonders if there were genuinely dangerous people in the city. Everyone has been very nice so far, but there has to be a reason to take stuff away like that, right? Or maybe he was giving it too much thought.

"So cool! It sounds so fun! Like running on air. " He cooed in awe.

He nods. "Yup! All sorts of them. But no racetracks, I don't think?"

He rests his pointer on his chin, taking the moment to think. It's not like he'd had a reason to look for them before, so he could have missed it... However, a big racetrack would be pretty hard to miss.

"It's in Binan, a city in the mountains! We're mostly known for our hotsprings and stuff. - Oh! Speaking of, hold on." Yumoto dug into his pockets, taking longer than he would have liked to produce a coupon. It's been so long since he had a reason to give these out! He offers the small slip of paper. "My family runs the Kurotama bathhouse! You can use this is you ever end up in Binan. "

Wait, no. No despair! Yumoto is telling her about his home! "Oh wow, a hot spring?! Those are so wonderful! I'll hold onto this just in case, thank you!!" There is another nod from Bakushin after she takes the coupon and tucks it away in a pocket.

Anya was told not to wander too far, but the city seems like a nice place, and even if the thoughts of people were a bit jumbled up, she could still piece together if someone had bad intentions. And she wants to get something nice for her new papa, so she asked around a lot for things adults like, and eventually found herself wandering through Star Trail on a quest to find something that an adult would like to eat!

Which is a lot harder than she thought it would be.

Mostly because she doesn't have adult tastes and most of the mature sounding and looking food is full of stuff she doesn't like.

She huffs, sitting on a bench kicking her legs and munching on candied peanuts, brow pinched in intense concentration.

Maybe... she should ask for help.

But papa (Loid papa, not Gregor papa) always told her not to talk to strange adults, and, frankly, most of the adults are strange. So when she locks onto someone that looks like he's the same age as some of the older students at Eden, Anya comes to the reasonable conclusion that strange teens ≠ strange adults.

"Hewlp?"

The strange teen blinks in surprise, mouth full. Yumoto takes the moment to swallow, and quickly stuffs the remnants of the rice ball back into his shopping bag. This was a serious matter, she needed his help!

Not that he knew very much about adult snacking habits... But he knew a lot of snacks in general, and he knew an adult, so he probably had the knowledge somewhere there!

"Adult snacks, adult snacks...My big brother likes rice a lot! I guess rice balls are pretty safe... Oh! But he also said lots of protein is important for muscles! And I think some older customers said something about salt..."

"Mhm." He nods simply. Yumoto listened patiently, quietly processing.

"Oh, like a romance? I didn't know they made them with girls, but I guess I never thought about it. Cool!" It feels a little obvious in hindsight. The world of love was vast and varied!

She supposed it could've been with guys but never anything she had written before. Though there was always a chance that could change one day...

"Binan High, huh? Never heard of that school! Where is it?" She takes a small breath.

She's talking almost a mile a minute, and she isn't aware that maybe she needs to slow down. Bakushin O gasps, though, as a thought hits her.

Compared to her rapid fire speech, Yumoto's response was much more delayed as he tried to parse every piece. Not that he had the knowledge to be much help, really. Sand was just sand, wasn't it? Still, he gave his best effort to keep up. "Um, I think anywhere is fine? I run around the beach or around the parks. No one's gotten mad yet, so I think it's all public."

Not even remotely what she asked.

"... OH! Did you mean, like, tracks?"

With introductions, Yumoto lights up.
