"We should go see him down at the detention center." Spark sighed. "I've known him since I entered Law School, but I never knew that he grew up here." He knew many things about Logan, but he never expected something like this. Talking to him was his main priority at the moment. "...You know a way out of here?" He chuckled, acknowledging how clueless he is on his current location.

Fulbright kept his confident smile intact, as he ordered one of the police officers to bring the weapon found… A lightweight katana. “Allow me to present the murder weapon… An interesting fact about this sword is the name engraved, ‘Logan’.” He informed, not mentioning the obvious bloodstain. “The autopsy is currently in the making, but it will not be done for a while. So I suggest you leave this to the police.” Our lawyer wasn’t expecting this kind of evidence to pop up. But as of right now, the only thing on his mind right now was to see Logan. They probably have him at the detention center already. Without uttering a word, Spark turned for the exit, only releasing a sigh.

The brown haired attorney glanced over Emmy and began to think for a moment. "You know what..." He paused. "Sure." He then gave her a sweet smile. Spark understood that she wanted to help Logan out, and that meant a lot to the brown haired lawyer. He attempted to sort his thoughts out. A double murder that occured in what seemed to be Logan's past home in the middle of nowhere, both victims sliced in half. Spark already knew that he was in for one tough case.

Pepper comes up to the lawyer’s door in the middle of the night, dressed in pajamas with a store bought chocolate cake. When he answers, she smiles tiredly. “It’s 11:59 so technically I’m not late, and I swear I have a good excuse. Happy birthday buddy.”

"Aw, Pep." He smiles kindly. "You didn't have to... But thanks." He places the cake on his table nearby, to place in the fridge in a little while, then turning back to a sleepy Pepper. "You should get some sleep now." He suggested.

Edgeworth’s expression darkened at the man’s question. “….. I’m afraid not. Pepper she…..” He sighed, holding the infant close. “She’s in the hospital….”

As Edgeworth's expression darkened, so did Spark's at the other's answer. "How did..." He looked away for a small moment, before looking at the Prosecutor once again. "What happened to her?"
