This day was supposed to go so differently. Some discussion of work, a few cups of tea, some pleasant conversation... Not this. No the two of them being shot at. Not them being cornered, the elevator being their only route of escape. Not... another shot firing as the doors closed. A sharp cry. More shots. A jammed elevator. Which left Pepper laying on the ground, a trembling hand clutching a fresh wound. Miles meanwhile... She was sure he hadn't even seen what had happened. Now he was out cold.
@pepper-green ((So i found this while looking through my inbox and idk if you wanted to do it still???))
Edgeworth had passed out as soon as the elevator jolted suddenly as it stopped working, having been on the verge of a breakdown as soon as he stepped inside. Being around elevators, he could deal with now… Even guns, he was able to keep his composure if one was in the room. Together though, it wasn’t long before his phobia took hold of him and his mind shut down in order to avoid the memories.
When he woke up however, he was laying against the wall of the elevator, almost forgetting what had happened until the muffled sounds of yelling outside and heavy breathing from beside him brought back the memories. “A-Ahh….” the prosecutor gasped, quickly curling up into himself an shivering once more, clamping his eyes shut. “P-Pepper…!” he gasped, unknowing of what had happened to her.
