An extremely obscure detail in Super Mario RPG is that there is one inn in the game that allows Mario to stay even if he cannot pay for it, being the Seaside Town inn. Since it is encountered in the latter half of the game, it is unlikely Mario would not have the 15 coins to pay for it, and a player with no money left would likely simply rest at Mario's house for free instead.

This is the only inn that normally costs money that allows Mario to stay even if he cannot pay; the Rose Town and Monstro Town inns are free by default, while every other inn will not let him stay if he does not have enough money.

As per the 2D Mario renders I also thought I’d showcase the flat color work an lineart on their own, I spent WAY too much time on this LMAO.

This doozy right here is a blurb showcasing how I mapped out Geno’s “canon” proportions based on given information, featuring some mock-up sketches (WARNING CURSED GENO-WITHOUT-HIS-CAPE SKETCHES + INCESSANT YAPPING 😭).

And lastly… the most fun part, the color schemes! 💖

My tapestry is done!!!!!!

it’s about 23,000 double crochets, not counting the chain stitches and slip stitches and such holding them all together. I made this entire thing with a 3.75 mm hook! I started this in December so it’s been about four, four and a half months of solid work.

What inspired it is that the prior owners of the home put up stone veneer on this wall, as you can see in the photo, but they left a massive gap in the stone where their TV was. Well, our TV is way too small to fill that gap, and even if it were the right size we don’t want the TV there, so… fiber arts!

Sure, there are a couple things I’d do differently if I were starting over, but I’m NOT starting over, so you know what? It’s perfect anyway.
