Oh look a 3 headed monkey!

For most of the dream, Ruggie's pretty flustered, I mean learning that the guy you like fantasizes about marrying you it's very flattering but learning it while surrounded by your peers makes things weird and embarrassing (specially when you know one of them is gonna use this as blackmail)

After all the Malleus overblot thing has been resolved, Leona is expecting Ruggie to make fun of him but to his surprise Ruggie doesn't, he doesn't even mention it off handedly.

The reason is because Ruggie's freaking a bit about it. He's thinking how he feels about the idea of being married to Leona and he doesn't hate it, actually he likes it very much but the implications are making him spiral a little. Thankfully, when he's talking on the phone with his grandma, she immediately knows there's something bothering him and makes him spill (I doubt Ruggie can keep anything secret from his grandma), so he does and talking about it with her does help him make sense of what he's feeling and put his thoughts in order. (She does ask him to bring Leona home sometime, she's curious about the prince who's captured her grandkid's heart)

Now that Ruggie has resolved the issue, yes he'll proceed to make fun of Leona for dreaming about being married, as much as he can. Maybe even calls himself Leona's husband as a joke. Leona doesn't understand why it took a while for Ruggie to make fun of him for it and he kinda misses his peace of mind (tho he secretly loves hearing Ruggie call himself his husband)

And another silly question...if Ruggie had a child that was cryinh non stop,do tou think he will use his unique spell/Signature Spell to shut the child?

Well, irl zoos and sanctuaries do often gender incorrectly spotted hyenas specially when they're cubs, so I do have the headcanon that spotted hyena beastfolk tend to be androgynous and therefore get mistaken often specially when they are kids. Also female spotted hyenas are bigger than males, so probably it happens the same with beastfolk. So, it's possible that Ruggie may have been mistaken for a girl at least once (he also could pass as a girl with very minimal work, so...)

Yes, it can be exhausting. I think that there are more of us in tumblr (?), but I'm not sure bc I stick to JP accounts on twitter so my view may be a bit skewed.

That is such a nice idea! While I really like Leona grabbing Ruggie by the neck, it's true that it doesn't give him any chance to try to fight back (tho, once he's on his feet again he joins the fry instantly)

Yeah, Ruggie is never afraid to speak up when he disagrees with Leona or show his displeasaure if necessary and neither of them mind getting physical

I love it! Do I see it happening? Nah, but god do I love cannibalism as a metaphor for obsessive love and full devotion (I also really like gore, so that's a bonus).

Also with Leoruggie it works so well considering that the hyenas eat Scar at the end of the movie and you can put it as Leona giving everything to Ruggie including himself <3

And don't get me start with the leoruggie stuff! At first I was meh about the ship but then I was reading a Kalim/Jamil timetravel fic and leoruggie was a side pair and omg it open my eyes to it! And let me tell you how surprised I was when I saw it getting hated on. Like I'm tots confused on the hate for it, they are like soooo sooo soo prefect for each other, and I love the pairing so much I'm reading a leoruggie fanfic rn from 2nd pov of ruggie. And let me tell you it is God diven gift to this world becuase holy it is so flipping good 💛💛💛💛💛💛💛💛

Not my thing, because while I like Ruggie with either Leona or Jack, I cannot see Leona and Jack together.

Like I can see Jack having some kind of celebrity crush on Leona (and you could argue it has some canon backing), but what I cannot see is Leona reciprocating. There's nothing in their interactions that feels remotely romantic for me.

The only way it could work for me it's Ruggie dating both simultaneously, lol:

Well I can see Malleus getting curious about Ruggie because he's someone interested in learning about different perspectives and experiences and Ruggie's life is pretty much the opposite of his. It could start after the masterchef because Malleus seemed pretty content with their interactions.

Ruggie may get rid of his fear by pure exposure tbh, see that Malleus is actually a giant nerd and very chill most of the time. But unlike Malleus he's not that curious about others, as he has other things on his mind, so I don't see him going out of his way to try to get to know Malleus. So if either of the two is gonna start any sort of interaction, it's going to be Malleus.

I can see them hanging out from time to time, not very frequently tho. What I'm pretty sure is that their interactions are pretty quiet and calm. They probably talk about unimportant things, swap folktales, maybe sometimes they share an anecdote from their day. Or sometimes they don't even talk at all, just hanging out in a comfortable silence.

I just can see them having a peaceful time together. Here, they went to an aquarium:

Then leona!! You draw him so prettily!! Imo as he should be, even vil himself said that leonas facecard never declines. Imo you balance the handsome and beauty of him in a way that scratches my brain lol. And his eyesss yes the feline eyes, Strong and intimidating while looking so babygirl.

Well for both of them I like how they're very smart and skilled but in different ways. I also find it very cute how much of fake idgafers they both are, they care so much for each other but still try to deny it with 0 success, lol.

For Leona specifically, I really like that despite his power and knowledge he shines the most in support positions thanks to how observant he is of others. Which makes him a great leader, I understand why Savannaclaw rallies behind him. I also love his dry and sarcastic humor specially when it's to ragebait others, he's so funny.

For Ruggie I love his attitude, like his resilience, how he's able to find the good side of situations/things while being very realistic but not particularly optimistic, how his shamefulness is one of his strengths, etc. I really also like that at first glance he seems to be one of the greediest characters but then you start looking under the surface you see that he's actually one of the most selfless characters because his main motivation is to take out of poverty him and his grandma as well as helping out his whole community; like he doesn't keep much for himself actually, he gives most of it to others.

As for Leorruggie I like how well they compliment each other, they're two sides of the same coin. Like even though they come from the opposite ends of the social pyramid, both end with a similar cynical outlook on life but they react in opposite ways, Leona gives up while Ruggie still tries to better his station. Them being in the same wavelength and knowing how the other is gonna react/act, as well asbeing so comfortable with each other that they let their guard down when they are together.

The fact that they're at the same time the worst and best influence on each other, because they enable each other in the worst ways but then you've Ruggie being Leona's biggest supporter and making sure he eats and does his work while Leona finds loopholes to help out Ruggie both financially and academically and is also the biggest believer in Ruggie's potential. And to add to this the fact that Ruggie, even with his cynical look on life, still tries and is still working towards his goals is something that seems to motivate Leona to start trying again, while having Leona treat him as a peer instead of inferior seems to better Ruggie's confidence in his skills.

And of course they are so so cute together <3
