when i first watched s7, i thought keith was smiling at lance in this scene, but as i look at it again… he’s frowning and looks sad.

honestly i think this little detail adds on to keith wanting to get closer to lance. since the bonding moment, he kept trying to connect with him. he’s probably bittersweet about lance reuniting with his family, since his parents died and he never lived his teenage years with such a large support. he had shiro, and that was about it. 

it’s interesting because he smiles at pidge like he’s happy for her, and yet when he sees lance he looks conflicted. 

keith wants to be closer to lance, but he probably thinks that lance doesn’t feel the same - which, to put bluntly, couldn’t be farther than the truth.

what keith doesn’t see is that lance does like him, to the point of choosing him over allura, hunk, pidge, and even himself in the feud. lance isn’t denying his feelings for keith, but i have a hunch that he doesn’t know exactly what they are yet.

but his feelings are undeniable enough to have him smiling at his fellow man-bro like this. this is definitely a hint of his upcoming sexuality arc.

it makes sense that keith didn’t want to be honest with lance and the team here, because he was scared of rejection. he said it himself in his vlog. he was still honest with choosing lance to leave because he trusts him - he just didn’t say the actual reason. if you go back and watch “the feud,” keith was the first one to finish writing. he’s sure of his feelings. 

we can see lance as he becomes conflicted. he hasn’t understood his feelings yet, but he knows that he’d rather choose keith above anyone else.

i love the idea of lance going to shiro for advice about keith and keith going and talking to veronica about lance

the war is over and the hard part is done so they have some downtime you know? they talk for a long time about everything that happened and eventually reach an understanding

lance confesses his feelings completely accidentally and keith just. kisses him

you know how on the office where jim buys a ring after his third date with pam? thats lance with keith. after a month of dating he decides he’s gonna marry keith one day

keith keeps his hair in the mullet but grows it a little longer

lance runs his fingers through keiths hair at night when keith is curled up against his chest and holds him tight and that’s how they fall asleep after long and hard days

lance doesn’t tell anyone he’s gonna propose except shiro because he wanted his advice. shiro tells him that whatever he does keith will say yes because he loves lance more than anyone else

lance takes keith stargazing one night in an area in the desert with almost no light pollution

they talk about the constellations and snuggle up on a blanket on a roof

lance decides to pull out the ring when keith stands up to get a closer look at the moon

lance has an entire speech planned out

they dont get married for another one or two years cause theyre not in a rush and just enjoy being together, married or not

they let coran pick the music after giving him access to a spotify premium account for 4 months and he picks the craziest mix of slow wedding songs, hits from 2008-2014, and bad 80s dad music

they have waffles at the reception because keith requested it

shiro has too much champagne and gives 8 toasts keith is embarrassed but loves his brother too much to care

everyones kinda over the whole voltron thing and lance and keith go back to school to get degrees

keith gets one in theater history and lance gets one in marine biology because he loves ocean animals

keith becomes an art teacher/theater director at a high school and teaches self defense classes on the side

lance works at the community center and also teaches part time at a local university instructing freshman biology classes

after being married a few years, lance and keith decide to adopt kids

they adopt 2 girls named carmen and rose

the girls have the same biological parents but after they died in a car accident they were put in a foster home

carmen is 6 and rose is 2

carmen loves drawing and playing outside and rose is a sociable toddler who loves building blocks

they warm up to keith and lance immediately and keith and lance immediately love the girls

carmen and rose look a lot like lance and keith, funnily enough

their skin tone is closer to lance’s but their hair color and eye shape is more like keith’s

they both have dark brown eyes and curly hair

coran tells them weird stories about altean culture

hunk and shay make shark shaped chicken nuggets for them and hunk builds little toy contraptions for them to play with

pidge and her gf scan all of carmen’s drawings into a computer for safekeeping

allura and romelle are the Ultimate Aunties™

they take the girls out shopping for sparkly things

they tell the girls stories of their childhoods and allura dresses them up as princesses

romelle takes them to the zoo and is just as excited as they are to see the earth animals

matt and his bf show them cool tricks you can do with a staff

theyre kind of disasters and keith can be Protective so when theyre hanging out together keith always is keeping an eye on them

cosmo lives really long cause he’s a space wolf and he takes a liking to the girls immediately

rose loves being teleported around from room to room and shouts with glee every time cosmo does it

carmen likes to braid his fur and cosmo lets her

everyone loves keith and lance’s kids so much and are always offering to take care of them if they want to go on vacation alone or have something to do

not all klance shippers are antis
