Flood Filling works now!
Progress is a little slow because I had to change how the map layers were stored, but in return it allowed me to do this pretty easily.

Working on the editor again! Gif is super fast for some reason
Curious why you make your own editor instead of using ogmo or tiled?
The end goal is an editor and game combined
Working on the editor again! Gif is super fast for some reason
Working on unit states!
Each one of these states (idle, walk, dash) are just 12 or so variables thrown at a script, and the game handles the rest. It even automatically picks the sprites to use based on the given prefix. Also, the states will allow you to control every unit, since each unit shares state names This should expedite the process of making and testing enemies, not to mention supporting fun stuff like sprite swapping and enemy possession

Public Preview Build 0.2.2a is out and free for all
Get your ass kicked by a lizard TODAY
https://weaverdev.itch.io/moth-game-alpha
So that game I’ve been working on now has a demo!
https://t4tgames.itch.io/t4t-games-projext
We’re a pretty big team for an indie game so it’s hard to point at who did what exactly, but I coded the movement and battle screen UI. Please let me know what you think! All the bugs are pretty much my fault, so feel free to yell about that too
I was so excited about it I completely forgot to post here! But seriously I’ve been crazy busy for the past few months trying to balance 1-2 projects at a time while working two jobs.
Since work on Frost is (really) slow, I thought I’d talk about some of the neat features in the game! As you may know, there’s a ton of things to collect in Frost, and the ones that add most to the gameplay are the magic rings. Today I’m going to show you one of my favourites, the Ring of Guilt!
This nifty little ring gives you a ghostly protector when you slay an enemy… but guilt has a way of haunting you!
Those ghosts sure are cute!
The Ring of Guilt is one of 20 rings you can find in game, each with their own unique effects. For other collectables there’s Treasures and Tokens, which have no gameplay effects but can be tricky to find. Treasures in particular give you little lore snippets about places and characters you find in game:
(Don’t worry, they’re not all helmets! That’s just the default “you haven’t unlocked this” sprite)
Including rings, treasures, and tokens, there’s 52 different collectables to find in Frost. There’s so many I’ve actually forgotten where some of them are! (Seriously, I’m not kidding)
If you’re interested and want to see more little info posts like this, like, subscribe, follow, share, retweet, vlog, comment, and tell your friends! Also ask me questions, I love questions!

Heres a Tumblr exclusive playthrough of one of the demo levels. Sorry its rushed but I needed to keep it under 100mb!
We’re just putting some finishing touches on the demo now. The demo will be a full 6 levels including a tough boss. Watch this space for updates!
Speaking of not being dead, look who else just posted!
(Super keen for the demo btw)

I’ve had a couple of questions asking if I’m alive, and I am! I don’t like to talk about personal problems, and I’ll spare the sob story but in short the last few years haven’t been amazing. The last three months however have been great and it’s been some really solid dev! Although, not much on Frost! I got a job working on another game that’s pretty exciting, and when I’m able I’ll post all about it here. It’s hush-hush for now though!
While I can’t post about the big game I’m working on, sometimes I spend an afternoon here and there working on small stuff which I’ll start posting. For starters, check this out:
(Fyi: this almost certainly won’t work with Frost because it’s a new codebase, but never say never!)
Woah! Frost has a new (and final) demo! Come check it out and let me know what you think!
https://spacedoggames.itch.io/frost-final-demo
It’ll be the last before the game actually releases, too! Make sure to follow so you don’t miss out!
In case you missed it!

Dungeon diving gets a little creepy sometimes…
I’m getting very close to finishing Frost! That means showing off more screenshots and some trailers soon, so make sure to follow so you don’t miss out!
