okay after that new episode jax is definitely my favourite character. I definitely think he has some trauma back at home with the way that zooble mentioned that someone was waiting for them and asked Jax don’t you? The way he reacted said to me that either he doesn’t or the people that he will go back to our terrible to him. Same with at the end of the episode when he was absolutely panicking and getting flashbacks to certain streets, I think maybe that’s where he used to live, and he was having traumatic flashbacks to his real life.
Solidly cried during the abstraction part though because as much as everyone says they would like him to abstract he’s a human and doesn’t deserve that. I kinda don’t understand why people say they want him to abstract, sure he’s an extremely flawed character, and not exactly the best person, but he is still a person. I understand the wanting the angst but then I also wonder how people would react to someone in real life hurting the same way Jax does. Goose herself said Jax is a reflection of her, and I also see myself in Jax a lot. While, yeah, ive grown past most of the shit he does, I still relate to how he feels. He just needs therapy fr and to open up, but thats so hard to do when his world is literally not real. Hes trapped in a hellscape, so no wonder hes not very mentally healthy. Most of what he does is out of self protection, which I can’t really fault him for when he lives in such an unforgiving place. I’m excited to see what glitch does and I really do hope everyone gets out.
