Breakfast experiment: Vegetable scrambled egg with pan seared vienna white loaf. Started off with the idea of making an omelette. No onions. Long story short, ended up creating a vegetable scrambled egg. Ingredients: Anchovy infused oil, black pepper, garlic, potato, tomato, himalayan rock salt, cabbage, sauerkraut, fermented chilli & scotch bonnet paste. Went great with slices of the pan seared Vienna white loaf. #bread #breakfast #weekend #sunday #foodexperiment #saurkraut #fermentedveggies #foodies #cheatday #eggs #spicyfoods #chilli #vegetables #scrambledeggs #panseared #homemadefood #homecooked
Trading Journal - Day 17 - 27/06/13
Here are the details of my analysis of the 6 majors for today, along with screenshots of the charts. Also including the Post mortem for yesterday.
Post Mortem of Day 16
EUR/USD: Price had closed below 1.3032, triggering a Sell entry. There's a retracement there currently. Will monitor PA, looking for signs of the Bullish move solidifying.
GBP/USD: Price acted as per my analysis yesterday, triggering a Sell trade. Will monitor the trend & keep an eye out for any signs of reversal.
USD/CAD: Price didn't close above the Pennant, but rather closed below the small channel. This provides bias for a Bearish move, although the nearby SR zone can prove to be a major challenge.
USD/CHF: Price still hasn't closed above the 50lvl, & there was no action pending on this.
USD/JPY: Price didn't close below 96.97, so no Sell entry was triggered.
AUD/USD: No Sell entries arose.
TRADE ANALYSIS
EUR/USD
D1 Trend: Down
D1 > On Daily chart, yesterday's candle closed below the 61.8lvl, which is important as it strengthens the bias for the bearish move continuing. Price could now move to the 78.6lvl, or below.
H4> The close below the 61.8lvl has retraced back up to that level. A close above that now can be a sign of uncertainty. A bounce here, on the otherhand, would validate this bearish move. Price has been making similar waves, so I'm expecting a repeat of the pattern, & price to retrace again & fall back into the original down trend.
DO > Will monitor the PA, esp keeping an eye on how it acts on H4 & D1 today
GBP/USD
D1 Trend: Down
D1 > Price closed below the 50lvl yesterday, and has moved even below the 61.8lvl now. Close below will provide good bias for the Bearish move continuing and may even indicate a full-fledged reversal! There is a SR zone nearby, around 1.5228, so reaction to that level would be one to watch in the immediate term.
H4> The strong move driving price below the 61.8lvl is more defined on H4. Can go for a Sell trade on close below this level. The close below the small diagonal support can also be used as an entry signal for the sell trade, so there's a confluence of multiple signals indicating a Sell.
I have also marked other places this trend could have been entered into earlier - it's always interesting to see how Price acted beforehand to make future decisions.
DO > D1/H4: Sell - close below 61.8lvl, ie 1.5287
USD/CAD
D1 Trend: Up
D1 > The longer term trend has not been violated yet, & PA is currently retracing after the most recent up move. I will be looking for a bounce at the 38.2 or 50lvl. The zone around the 38.2lvl is a strong SR zone what the existence of the most recent highs at that level, at 1.0408. How price reacts to that zone will be indeed interesting to watch.
H4> Price is moving down in a small channel, & is currently bouncing at the bottom of the channel. It is also near the strong SR zone around the 38.2lvl. Signs of price turning back is what I will be looking for here, at this zone. However, if Price closes below the 38.2lvl, can consider a Sell entry with 50lvl being the TP, & SL placed above the 38.2lvl.
DO > Monitor PA for a reversal around the 38.2lvl, looking for a Buy entry. Will consider a Sell entry if Price closes below 38.2lvl
USD/CHF
D1 Trend: Down (after there's a reversal)
D1 > Price has moved up to nearly 50% of the last down move. If Price reverses at the 50lvl, then there would be bias for the Bearish move continuing. Conversely, can consider a Buy trade if Price closes above.
H4> A good turning point would be around the 0.9498 area, which'd be below the 61.8lvl and also at the longer term diagonal SR (DTL).
DO > Monitor PA, looking mainly for a Sell entry
USD/JPY
D1 Trend: Up
D1 > Price is bouncing between the 50 & 38.2lvl. The tendency seems to be for PA to move higher, & the 38.2lvl has acted as Support on 3 occassions so far. Close above the 50lvl can provide a Buy entry.
H4> Price is congested, & moving in a narrow range. Until there is a breakout, it'd be not very prudent to take any trades.
DO > Will monitor PA, mainly looking for a Buy entry
AUD/USD
D1 Trend: Down
D1 > Price is stalling at the 38.2lvl of the last down swing. This could be a reversal zone for Price to go fall back into the original down trend. Will look for signs of reversal.
H4> Price is moving up in a narrow channel. Unless there's a good bounce at the 38.2lvl, can't really consider a Sell entry. A great confirmation for the Bearish move continuing will come once Price closes below 0.9171.
DO > Will watch PA.
Trading analysis - Summary:
PA is not trade-worthy on most of the pairs. The only pair I have a clear trade signal on is G/U. Will keep watch on others.
Trading Journal - Day 16 - 26/06/13
Below are the details of my analysis of the 6 majors for today, along with screenshots.
I use pure Price Action as the basis of my analysis - no indicators.
I have included a section with an analysis of yesterday's trade calls and research. I think "Post Mortem" sums it up :)
If you have any suggestions or thoughts, feel free to leave a comment. Thanks :)
Post Mortem
Post-Mortem of yesterday's trade analysis & trade calls
EUR/USD: Even though there was a Bullish engulfing pattern, Price basically reversed itself after one candle. It has now moved below the 61.8lvl. Teaches me to go against the longer-term trend (ie, entering a Buy when the trend was Bearish)
GBP/USD: Price never did close above the 38.2lvl, so no Buy trade was triggered. PA has since moved down, & currently attempting to close below the trend line below.
USD/CAD: Price did do what I expected it to do, & has moved down, but not before spiking above the high of the Bearish engulfing pattern & taking out my trade. Placing the SL above the swing high would have been better.
USD/CHF: Buy signal played out, taken at close above the 38.2lvl. It is continuing to move up now, & there's also been a Bullish engulfing pattern following the candle that close above.
USD/JPY: The 38.2lvl failed to be a significant level of SR, as Price has been bouncing above & below that level. So even though there was a close below that level, price then retraced. Currently is moving down again, but mostly PA is congesting.
AUD/USD: No sell trade was triggered, as Price failed to close below 0.9170. Rather, it bounced up.
Trade Analysis
EUR/USD
D1 Trend: Down
D1 > Price is continuing to move down, seems to be moving towards the base of the channel. PA is currently stalling at the 61.8lv of the last up swing. Close below can provide an opportunity to enter this trend.
H4> On H4, the Daily move is more or less mimicked. PA has stalled right at the 61.8lvl. Will wait for a close below. PA has formed a bit of a wedge, so that is also worth watching...
DO > D1/H4: Sell - Close below 61.8lvl, ie 1.3032
GBP/USD
D1 Trend: Down
D1 > Price has retraced by more than 50% of the last Bullish move, currently stalling at the 50lvl. A close below can provide a Sell entry, although the 61.8lvl nearby could be a problem as PA could bounce there. R:R needs to be considered before taking any Sell trade.
H4> The 50lvl might not be that strong an area of SR, taking into account the fact that PA has closed below it before but then retraced. A close below 1.5346 can be a good place to get confirmation of the Bearish move continuing, as that it the level where Price has bounced both times Price closed below the 50lvl. A wedge has formed, so that also needs to be watched.
DO > Will monitor PA, esp looking for a Sell entry. Can take a Sell trade if current H4 candle (12:49 BST) closes below the DTL & horizontal SR.
USD/CAD
D1 Trend: Unsure
D1 > After the move up, PA is stalling currently. Close above 1.0523 can provide a Buy entry. If there is a retracement, then the zone around 1.0410 can prove to be a strong SR zone, & PA could turn around there. A better buy entry might come there, once PA bounces at that zone.
H4> Price is formed a congestion zone, moving in a channel between 1.0531 and 1.0472. Break and close above the channel will provide bias for the Bullish move continuing, which a close below might indicate a retracement. PA is currently near the base of the channel, & current candle's close can provide more information.
Also realised that Price has formed a Pennant/Flag, so a break above can provide a great R:R trade.
DO > Monitor PA, esp looking for a close above 1.0523, or a bounce around 1.0410
USD/CHF
D1 Trend: Up
D1 > Price has closed above the 38.2lvl of the last down swing, and moving up, The close provided a good place to enter into a Buy trade. Will monitor how PA develops.
H4> Price is moving in a triangle, and seems to be going for a breakout. A close above the 50lvl can provide another opportunity to enter into a Buy trade, as that would also be a close above the triangle.
DO > Monitor PA, esp for a close above the triangle, &/or the 50lvl.
USD/JPY
D1 Trend: Unsure
D1 > Price seems to be preparing for a Bearish move, finding resistance at 50lvl. It has also been finding support at the 38.2lvl, & also bouncing at a DTL. Close below the 38.2lvl can provide a good Sell entry.
H4> A small head & shoulder pattern has formed on H4, which strengthens my bias for the down move. A close below 96.97 - which is the neck line (and also is an SR zone) will provide a good Sell signal.
DO > D1/H4: Sell - close below 38.2lvl and Neck line (on H4), ie close below 96.97
AUD/USD
D1 Trend: Down
D1 > Price is moving down in a channel, currently bouncing at the base of the channel. 0.9194 is where Price bounced and failed to close below, so a close below that can provide a Sell entry. Otherwise, can look for a Sell at a bounce at the top of the channel. There is another small congestion zone, between 0.9278 and 0.9194, so break above or below can be indication of a Bullish or Bearish move. As it stands, there is no direction as such. Will watch the PA.
H4> The congestion zone is more defined on H4 chart, the top & bottom of the channel being 0.9311 and 0.9172 respectively. A diagonal channel is also present. Overall trend is Bearish, & Price is moving towards the top of the diagonal channel where it can bounce. Can take a Sell trade once PA bounces.
DO > Will monitor PA, esp looking for a Sell entry.
Trading analysis - Summary:
I really like the PA that's developing on U/J, especially the Head & Shoulder pattern on H4. That, for me, is a good confirmation that a Sell is coming. So I particularly favor that trade.
The possible Sell signal on E/U is also promising, so that's also worth watching.
Trading Journal - Day 15 - 25/06/13
It's Day 15. When I started, the hope was to continue to trade for the whole month of June, & so far it has played out well. Anyway, here are the details of my analysis of the 6 majors for today. Hope this is useful for those reading it. If you have any suggestions or comments, feel free to let me know.
EUR/USD
D1 Trend: Down
D1 > After the recent down move, Price has found resistance at the 50lvl (of the last up swing) and failed to close below. Instead, it closed above. If today's candle closes above the 50lvl, or even better the 38.2lvl, can seriously start considering a Buy trade as that could be an indication that Price has finished its retracement. A close below though can provide a Bearish bias.
H4> PA has made a Bullish engulfing pattern, with yesterday's candle engulfing the previous day's candle. The fact that this came right at the 50 level provides a good sign that PA will move up now. Will take a Buy trade, with SL below the low of the engulfing pattern (which is also below the 50lvl) & TP will be set accordingly (as per R:R & fib levels of this current move down). To be safer, can put the SL below the recent swing's low.
DO > H4: Buy at market, with SL below the engulfing pattern's low, & TP near the 50lvl.
GBP/USD
D1 Trend: Up
D1 > Price bounced at the 50lvl, & close above it. Close above the 38.2lvl (which is where it is currently stalling) can provide strong bias for the Bullish move continuing, and also provide a Buy entry. PA has formed a triangle, so a break will be one to watch for, either up or down. Can actually use the top of the triangle as the TP for a Buy trade, entered above the 38.2lvl if today's candle closes above...
H4> PA is currently stalling near the 38.2lvl of the last major down swing, failing to close above on 5 occassions. So close above can provide a good Buy signal.
DO > D1: Buy - Close above 38.2lvl, ie 1.5467, SL below last low, & TP near Triangle's top or last high.
USD/CAD
D1 Trend: Down
D1 > The Bulls seems to be exhausted for the time being, with much uncertainty as illustrated by the long wicks. It found resistance near the 161.8lvl of the last down swing. A close below the 127.2lvl, which is where PA is hovering right now, could provide basis for a Sell trade.
H4> The last candle closed as a Bearish engulfing candle, below the 127.2lvl. Current candle is stalling, but the fact that there's a Bearish engulfing pattern at the 127.2lvl provides a good Sell bias. TP can be placed near the 38.2lvl, & SL above the high of the engulfing pattern.
DO > H4: Sell - at market. SL above engulfing pattern's high. TP near 38.2lvl.
USD/CHF
D1 Trend: Up
D1 > PA is currently stalling near the 38.2lvl of the last down swing. Close above will strengthen the bias for the Bullish move continuing, while close below can indicate the opposite.
H4> Price has formed a triangle, between the 38.2lvl and the UTL. A break above or below can provide trade signals (Buy or sell respectively). Bias is for the Bullish move to continue, although a break below can indicate a change in market sentiment, and direction, at least for the short term.
DO > H4: Buy - Close above 38.2lvl, ie 0.9383 / Sell - Close below the UTL
USD/JPY
D1 Trend: Down
D1 > PA has found resistance at the 50lvl of the last down swing, & has moved below the 38.2lvl. Close below can provide a bias for a Bearish move - at least in the short term. Close below the nearby trendlines though can really provide strength to that bias. Can take a Sell trade on close below the 38.2lvl, with TP near the UTLs, & SL above 50lvl.
H4> Along with the fact that there has been closes below the 38.2lvl on the H4 chart, price is forming a wedge. There's a nearby diagonal SR (UTL) close below which can provide further bias for a Bearish move continuing. That also makes it risky to enter a Sell trade right now, as Price could very well bounce there, as it did on 3 previous occassions. Will watch for a better Sell entry.
DO > Watch for a better Sell signal on H4. (D1: Sell - On close below the 38.2lvl, with TP near the UTLs, & SL above 50lvl. )
AUD/USD
D1 Trend: Down
D1 > Price seems to be retracing currently, finding Support at 0.9194, below which it failed to close 4 times. A close below will provide strength for the bias of the down trend continuing. Conversely, a close above 0.9278 can provide a short-term Buy trade, with the nearby Fib levels as TP levels, & 0.9194 being the SL level. Will consider the trade if R:R, among other things, work out.
H4> Price is moving in a tight channel, between 0.9170 and 0.9278. A break above or below can provide further information in terms of the next move. My bias is for a break below, which will provide strength to the longer-term Bullish move continuing. A Buy trade might be too risky, as there are too many levels of SR above...
DO > D1/H4: Sell - close below 0.9170
Trading analysis - Summary:
A/U is providing the strongest signal, so I'll keep an eye out for that one in particular.

Trading Journal - Day 14 - 24/06/13
Here are the details of my analysis of the 6 majors for today, along with the screenshots. I missed Thu and Friday's trading last week, thus today's Day 14, instead of 16.
Anyway, here's today's analysis.
EUR/USD
D1 Trend: Down
D1 > PA has made a strong move down. It has opened below the 50lvl of the last up swing. Close below the 61.8lvl, closeby, can provide bias for a down move.
H4> Price has retraced after moving up, and is currently stalling around the 50lvl of the last up swing. Can look for a Sell trade once there's a close below the 61.8lvl, otherwise it might be too risky to enter a sell trade, what with the amount of resistance ahead. A close below 1.3079 can provide the first indication of the bearish continuation...
DO > Monitor for any indications of a down move continuing
GBP/USD
D1 Trend: Down
D1 > Price has moved down strongly over the last few days, but is currently stalling, around the 50lvl of the last swing high. PA bounced at that level the last time. A close below that can strengthen the bias for the down trend continuing.
H4> Price stalling near the 50lvl is giving rise to uncertainty, but the existence of the hammer gives me indications that PA might be due to retrace a bit. Needs to be watched closely. Might even be able to take a Buy scalp trade with the base of the hammer as SL & 38.2lvl region as TP.
DO > Look for a scalp buy trade
USD/CAD
D1 Trend: Up
D1 > Price has made a strong move up. It has broken above the highest high in a very long time. My bias is for PA to continue to move up.
H4> The up move has been quite a strong one, with very few retracements. It seems to be moving towards 1.0591, which is near the 161.8lvl of the last low swing. Will look for a place to get on the trend.
DO > Look for a place to enter a Buy trade
USD/CHF
D1 Trend: Up
D1 > PA has retraced after the last down move, which was a major move. It is stalling at the 38.2lvl of the down swing, & a close above that can provide a Buy trade. The longer term trend is also Up, so that provides more strength for a Bullish move.
H4> A triangle is forming on H4. If price closes above 38.2lvl, then it could also very likely be closing above the triangle, which would provide a lot of strength to a Bullish move.
DO > H4: Buy - Close above 0.9379
USD/JPY
D1 Trend: Up
D1 > PA has moved up strongly in the last few days. It is stalling near the 50lvl of the last swing. There are a few levels of Resistance for the up move, but a close above the 61.8lvl can strengthen the bias for the up move to continue. Won't consider a down move until the low of the last swing has been taken out.
H4> On H4, PA has crossed above the 78.6% level of the last down swing. There's an SR zone nearby at 99.18, which is a significant level judging from past PA. Close above that level can provide bias for the up move continuing.
DO > Monitor...
AUD/USD
D1 Trend: Down
D1 > There are no signs of the down trend reversing or slowing down. Will look for a place to enter into the down trend.
Bias: Sell
H4> Price is stalling at 0.9161, close below which will provide a good place to enter a Sell trade.
DO > H4: Sell - close below 0.9161
Trading analysis - Summary:
I'm quite keen on taking a Sell trade on A/U, and a Buy trade on U/J.
Trading Journal - Day 13 - 19/06/13
Here are the details of my analysis of the 6 majors for today, along with the overview screenshots.
EUR/USD
D1 Trend: Up
D1 > Price has moved more than 61.8% of the last major down move. Previously, there have been attempts twice at this, but both times price failed to go above 50%, so this is of significance. Price stalled a fair amount before closing above the 61.8lvl. Can take a Buy trade, with SL being below the recent swing low, and TP could be set around 127.2lvl.
Bias: Buy
H4> The last major level of Resistance was around 1.3243, so there's very little upward resistance now. PA is moving is an upward channel, and currently stalling at a recent SR zone, around 1.3391. Can look for a Buy signal at a close above that, or preferably, above the recent swing close, ie. 1.3405.
DO > D1: Buy - Close above 1.3405.
GBP/USD
D1 Trend: Up
D1 > Price has retraced more than 50% of the last major down move. Previously there has been struggle to reach that high, with bounces around the 38.2 & 50lvl. Price is currently using the 50lvl as Support, with a previous level of SR existing at 1.5573. Close below that can make a strong statement, while that level holding can indicate that the market is moving higher. There are a few SR zones above, so any Buy trade needs to be looked at carefully. A possible entry can be a close above the recent high, 1.57504.
H4> Price has moved down, & stalled near the 1.5573 zone. There is a near term SR around 1.5730, close above which can provide a Buy entry. Conversely, a close below the UTL & 1.5573 can shift the bias to a bearish move.
DO > Monitor…
USD/CAD
D1 Trend: Up
D1 > The longer term seems to be still up, with Price retracing currently, stalling at the 50lvl of the last up move. There are quite a few SR zones around, both above & below, so any trade taken has to be taken with caution. Better to monitor how the PA unfolds, & wait for a really strong & good signal.
H4> Near term PA is very choppy, & has found resistance around 1.0234, which also is near the 50lvl. Close above 1.0234 can strengthen bias for the up move continuing.
DO > Monitor, mainly to see if the bullish move continues.
USD/CHF
D1 Trend: Down
D1 > Price has moved down fairly strongly, & has found Support around 0.9198. The current lack of momentum could be an indication that a retracement is underway, while a close below the 0.9198 zone can strengthen the bias for the bearish move continuing. A close above the recent highs though would provide cause for entering a Buy trade, as that could be the retracement, with TPs at the fib levels nearby, namely the 38.2lvl.
H4> PA is currently consolidating in a narrow channel, between 0.9255 and 0.9173. Can consider a sell entry once there's a close below 0.9137 - the most recent low (which also is a hammer's low).
DO > D1/H4: Sell - Close below 0.9137
USD/JPY
D1 Trend: Down
D1 > The current down move could be a reversal move, rather than just a retracement. It has moved much stronger than any of the recent moves, & found Support at a previous diagonal resistance (trend line). 92.78 is the nearby SR zone, a close below which can provide a Sell entry.
H4> A triangle has formed, & a breakout will be what I will look for before considering any trades. 94.05 though is the more significant SR level, so a close below that can provide bias for a Sell move.
DO > D1: Sell - Close below 94.05
AUD/USD
D1 Trend: Down
D1 > After the major down move, price is retracing, finding Resistance around 0.9337. Close below that can provide strength to the down move's continuation. Will monitor to see how PA reacts moving forward, especially looking for a place to enter the down trend.
H4> PA has created a small wedge. On H4 the down trend is more pronounced, so my bias is for the down move to continue, with possible entries coming from closes below the wedge, and the SR around 0.9337.
DO > D1/H4: Sell - Close below 0.9337
Trading analysis - Summary:
There is a lot of indecision in the market, as demonstrated by the amount of choppiness present. I like the E/U so far, so will favor a trade on that above the others.
Trading Journal - Day 12 - 18/06/13
Here are the details of my analysis of the 6 majors for today. Today I'm including individual timeframe analysis screenshots.
EUR/USD
D1 Trend: Up
D1 > The longer term trend is up, with Price stalling near the 61.8 lvl of the last major down move. The 50lvl has been a pretty strong SR zone, so Price violating that provides strength to the up move continuing. That zone also seems like the shoulder level of a head & shoulder pattern, so that provides even more bias to a Bullish move.
H4> Price is stalling at a previous SR level, around 1.3389. PA has moved up pretty strongly and uniformly, and I expect it to continue this move. Can take a Buy trade on close above that level. There is not much Resistance around once price breaks through that level, so that can provide a good R:R trade.
DO > D1: Buy - Close above 1.3389
GBP/USD
D1 Trend: Up
D1 > Price has moved up fairly strongly, & has Support at a previous Resistance level around 1.5601. That level is also the 50% zone of the last major down move, so the fact that price closed above that provides strength to the up move continuing. The 61.8lvl is very close, so it might be safer to take a buy trade only after Price closes above that level.
H4> There is a fair amount of Resistance available for a down move. Currently Price is near a SR around 1.5649. The next level of SR is around 1.5601. Close below that can provide strength to a bearish scenario. Also noteworthy though is the fact that Price is attempting to close below a trend line. If it does, then I will seriously consider a Sell trade.
DO > D1/H4: Buy - Close above 1.5736
USD/CAD
D1 Trend: Up
D1 > The longer term trend is up. The current down move seems like a retracement, & has found resistance at the 61.8lvl of the last up move, failing to close below that level. Price is now stalling at the 50lvl, and a close above can provide a Buy entry (close above 1.0213).
H4> Price is moving in a narrow channel, between the 50lvl and 1.0149. A wedge has also formed. Close above the 50lvl can provide a good bias for a Bullish move continuation, while a close below 1.0149 will provide basis for considering a bearish move.
DO > D1/H4: Buy - close above 1.0213
USD/CHF
D1 Trend: Down
D1 > The likelihood is that Price will continue to move down, with it stalling at a SR zone around 0.9175. Close below that can provide a Sell entry point. Can also enter a Buy trade if Price action indicates a retracement, with first TP being around the 38.2lvl. There is a fair amount of resistance available for a Bearish move, so my bias is for a bullish move, at least in the near term.
Bias: Buy
H4> A triangle has formed, & a break is what I will wait for to ascertain the next step. Price has been moving down, so the bias will be for that to continue. But at the same time, if there's a close above the triangle/DTL, then can consider a Buy trade. Considering the strong bias for the down move, might take a scalp Buy trade if Price closes above the nearby SR at 0.9256.
DO > D1/H4: Sell - close below 0.9176 / Buy (scalp) - Close above 0.9256
USD/JPY
D1 Trend: Down
D1 > Retracement is underway currently, with the current candle very likely to envelope the last big red candle. Price is very likely to move up some more before it can be determined what it actually wants to do, ie. continue on the longer term up trend or actually go for a reversal. Close below the recent swing low can provide bias for a reversal, and thus a sell trade.
H4> Price is stalling in a narrow channel, formed between the 38.2lvl (of the last swing) and 94.07. Price did attempt to go higher, but bounced around the 61.8lvl. I'm expecting the down trend to continue, & will look for Sell entry once there's a close below 94.07.
DO > H4: Sell - Close below 94.07
AUD/USD
D1 Trend: Down
D1 > Price has retraced after the down move, & found resistance around 0.9399. A close below that level can provide a Sell entry, & indicate the down move continuing. My bias is for the down move to continue, so will basically be looking for a Sell trade.
H4> Price has been making lower highs & lower lows, indicating the down trend is continuing. Even though the most recent low wasn't lower, the high wasn't higher than the last high, so my bias is still for the down move to continue. If PA closes above 0.9645, I'll look into the trend again as that can weaken the bias for a down trend continuation.
DO > Monitor PA...
Trading analysis - Summary:
There are no immediate trades available, as PA needs to develop more in order for a trade to be taken. So will monitor the markets.
Trading Journal - Day 11 - 17/06/13
Seems like I'm trading the rest of the month, which is pretty cool. Anyway, here are the details of my analysis of the 6 majors for today, along with the overview screenshots. I've also decided to include information about the direction of the long term trend (D1 trend) as that can be useful for getting a quick directional bias.
Daily Charts - Overview
H4 Charts - Overview
EUR/USD
D1 Trend: Up
D1 > Price has found resistance at 1.3373, and it also failed to close below the trend line. Close below now can provide a possible Sell trade, while a close above the SR can provide bias for a continuation of the up trend, and also a possible place to enter into a Buy trade.
H4> A triangle seems to be forming, & price is moving in a small range between 1.33736 and 1.33103. Close below that, and the bottom of the triangle, can provide a good basis for a Sell trade. Conversely, a close above the triangle, and the top of the channel 1.33736, can provide basis for considering a Buy trade. There's a lot of resistance around for a down move, while bias for an up move continuing is strong, what with the presence of less SRs AND the trend being a bullish one.
Bias: Buy
DO > D1/H4: Buy - If closes above 1.33736. Sell ? - If closes below UTL.
Monitor for close above SR, or below UTL.
GBP/USD
D1 Trend: Up
D1 > PA has struggled to move below the trend line (TL), & has created a hammer at the 100 lvl, basically finding Support at that zone. Can use that as a basis for entering a Buy trade, as the likelihood is strong that the up move is resuming. IF there's a close below the 100 lvl, will then revisit this assessment to ascertain the next step. But until then, the bias is for a Buy trade.
H4> After an up swing, PA is retracing. There's a SR level nearby, around 1.56846. How price reacts to that will be one to watch, as a close below can provide strength to the down move continuing, while a bounce at that level can really strengthen the bias for the up move continuing. I'll look for a place to enter a Buy trade, with the close above the 1.57272 being a good place to possibly enter a Buy trade.
DO > D1/H4: Buy - Close above 1.57272
USD/CAD
D1 Trend: Down
D1 > Price has closed below the 61.8 lvl, but is still hanging out near that level. The last candle found resistance there, & if that holds true today too can look for a sell trade. Can possibly enter at close below last candle's low/close.
H4> PA is very choppy, but overall the sentiment seems to be geared towards a down move. Price has found Support around 1.01585, which it has failed to breach on the last 5 occassions. So a close below that can provide basis for entering a Sell trade.
Bias: Sell
DO > H4: Sell - Close below 1.01585
USD/CHF
D1 Trend: Down
D1 > PA is struggling to cross the 100 lvl threshold - even though it closed below, it hasn't moved much since then, basically bobbing up & down near that level. Now it has also found Resistance at the trend line. Can buy if there's a close above the 100 lvl, while a close below the recent low & the DTL can provide a sell trade.
H4> Price is moving in a narrow channel, formed in between the 100 lvl and 0.92027. The bias seems to be for an up move, as PA has really struggled to move down, finding Support on several zones. A close above the 100 lvl can provide a good Buy signal. But for good measure, will wait for a close above not just that but also above 0.92498. That's the level above which price failed to close the last time PA did manage to close above the 100 lvl.
Bias: Buy
DO > Monitor for close above 100 lvl, or below DTL & recent low. Buy - If closes above 0.92458. Sell - If closes below UTL & 0.91295
USD/JPY
D1 Trend: Down
D1 > The move down seems to be continuing. Can enter a Sell trade at close below recent low, at 93.783.
H4> The overall trend is down. Price has been making lower highs & lower lows more or less consistently. It has been stalling for a bit now though, & has possibly created a double bottom. PA is currently stalling near the 23.6lvl of the recent down move. Unless there's a close above the 38.2 lvl (which will not only require PA to close above the 23.6 lvl as well, but also 2 DTLs, thus providing strength for an upward move), won't consider a Buy trade. Conversely, will look for a Sell trade at close below 94.22, or even below the 0.0lvl to be even safer.
DO > D1/H4: Sell - close below 93.77
AUD/USD
D1 Trend: Down
D1 > PA has retraced a fair bit, more than 61.8% of the most recent down swing. A close above last candle's close can provide a place to enter into a Buy trade, while a close below the 50lvl can provide basis for considering a Sell position.
H4> After the recent up move, price has retraced and found Support near the 61.8lvl of the recent swing. A triangle has formed, so will need to monitor for a breakout, up or down. There are more barriers for a down move than there are for an up move, so my bias is for a Buy trade.
Bias: Buy
DO > Monitor…
Trading analysis - Summary:
Overall USD seems to be weak, so a Sell of that can be a good move, while the bias would be to NOT buy USD. Can use this as a filter when considering taking a trade.

Trading Journal - Day 10 - 14/06/13
Here are the details of my analysis of the 6 majors for today. Not sure when I will trade next, as I very likely won't have access to trading for the rest of the month. I might opt for trading on the Weekly charts, or Monthly ones.
As yesterday, 2 overview screenshots only I have included.
Daily charts
H4 charts
EUR/USD
D1 > The price might be retracing, with today's candle moving down a fair amount. It's stalling near the UTL, close below which can provide a Sell bias. But as it stands, I still have a bias for an up move, & a close above yesterday's close can provide a Buy entry.
Bias: Buy
H4> PA has moved up quite uniformly, making higher highs and lows. It has stalled around the 1.3359 SR zone. A close above the recent swing's high can provide strength to the upward move continuing.
Bias: Buy
DO > Will monitor for a buy signal
GBP/USD
D1 > Price has moved below the UTL. If it closes below, then can start looking for a sell trade. A close below the 100 lvl can provide a place to enter a sell trade. Conversely, a close above yesterday's high/close can provide a Buy trade, and also strengthen the bias for the up trend continuing.
H4> PA closed below the UTL, & what was previously Support has now become Resistance. The close below 1.5684 provides further strength to a down move. Price is currently stalling at 1.5657, which is another SR zone, close below which will provide more strength to the down move continuing.
Bias: Sell
DO > Monitor to see how the trend fares...
USD/CAD
D1 > Price closed below 61.8 lvl, after struggling at the 50 lvl & then finding resistance there. Can enter a sell trade now, while price is retracing, with a SL if Price closes above the 61.8 lvl, & TP around the 100 lvl.
H4> PA hasn't broken out of the channel, which now seems to have narrowed between the 50 lvl, and 1.0158. It seems like price is trying to move down though. Can take a sell trade when PA closes below 1.0158.
Bias: Sell
DO > H4: Sell - closes below 1.0158
USD/CHF
D1 > Price found support at the DTL. There seems to be a lot of indecision - a close above the 100 lvl can provide basis for a Buy trade. Conversely, a close below yday's low (& the DTL) can provide a Sell signal.
H4> PA has stalled at the 100 lvl, where it found resistance on several occassions quite recently. A close above can provide a good place to enter a Buy trade.
DO > H4 / D1: Buy - close above 100 lvl / 0.9246
USD/JPY
D1 > Price struggled to move down strongly, and left a bearish candle with a long wick / a spike. A close below yday's low can provide strength to a downward continuation scenario, which I feel is the stronger bias as the recent trend is down.
Bias: Sell
H4> The 95.46 zone is acting as Support. Unless PA manages to close above that, I'll only consider a Sell trade on this pair. A good entry can be provided at the close below yday's low.
Bias: Sell
DO > Monitor...
AUD/USD
D1 > Price has retraced, with a clear low on sight. The 0.9802 zone can prove to be a SR zone, so will monitor how price reacts..
H4> PA found Resistance at the 61.8 lvl, & has moved down near the 100 lvl, where PA is stalling now. Will consider a Buy trade if/when Price closes above the 61.8 lvl. A close below the 100 lvl though can provide basis for a Sell trade.
DO > H4: Buy - close above 61.8 lvl
Trading analysis - Summary:
Overall, USD seems to be gaining strength, so it'd be good to take that into account before entering into a trade which involves selling USD.
Trading Journal - Day 9 - 13/06/13
Below are the details of my analysis of the 6 majors for today. I have included 2 overview screenshots for the pairs, one including all 6 H4 charts, & the other for all the D1 charts.
Daily charts - 6 majors
H4 charts - 6 majors
EUR/USD
D1 > Price struggled to go down yesterday, & this closed as a bullish candle with a small spike. Uptrend continues. The UTL is holding quite strongly - a breach of that can give cause for concern...
Bias: Up
H4> A SR zone has formed at 1.3359, with Price failing to close above on 3 past occassions. Today's candle made a go at it, but hasn't been successful so far. This could basically be a retracement. As long as Price doesn't close below the 100 lvl, won't consider a reversal.
DO > Watch...
GBP/USD
D1 > Price is making indications of a possible bearish move. If today's candle closes below the UTL, which has acted as Support since the 29th of May, I'll consider a sell trade. The nearby 100 lvl can be a problem, so that will need to be taken into consideration.
Bias: Undecided
H4> 1.5684 is proving to be an SR zone. Unless price closes above that, won't consider a buy trade. On the other hand, a close below the UTL can provide a sell trade. I might take a scalp trade actually, if PA closes below the UTL, with TP near the 100 lvl, & SL just above 1.5684.
DO > H4: Sell - If PA closes below the UTL, with TP near the 100 lvl, & SL just above 1.5684.
USD/CAD
D1 > The 61.8 lvl has proved to be a strong SR zone, with Price failing to close below that on several occassions recently. For all intents & purposes, the upward move could be resuming. A close above the 50 lvl can provide a Buy entry.
Bias: Buy
H4> Price closed below 61.8, but that was a false breakout as it then more or less immediately retraced back. It's now stalling at the 50 lvl. A channel has formed, between 1.0233 and 1.0158. Will watch for a breakout.
DO > D1: Buy if close abv 50 lvl AND 1.0233
USD/CHF
D1 > The previous trend line Resistance has now become support, with Price bouncing off that on 4 occassions. Price has closed below the 100 lvl though, & is moving quite strongly down, so will wait & see how it plays it before considering a trade. On the other hand, the close below 100 was a good place to enter a Sell trade, what with it proving to be a strong area of SR in the past. If price retraces to that level (close of yday's candle), can enter a sell trade.
H4> The DTL is acting as a strong Support line, with Price failing to break below for quite a while (since the 10th). Bias is still for a down move, & will consider a Sell trade if/when there's a close below the DTL.
DO > D1: Sell order - close of yday (0.9201)
USD/JPY
D1 > The breach of the 100 lvl is acting as a strong zone, & even though there was attempt at moving up price failed to do so. The tug of war was left undecided (evidence being the doji yday), & today's candle so far is moving strongly down so far. A bearish close can provide indications of a down move continuation. Will monitor today's close.
H4> PA reacted quite strongly to the 100 lvl, & has moved down a fair amount after breaching that. The next possible area of SR would be 161.8. Will watch how it fares...
DO > Watch...
AUD/USD
D1 > Price has stalled a bit, but hasn't provided any clear signs of reversal or continuation. Will watch this one.
H4> On H4 the price has retraced a fair amount, but found resistance at the 100 lvl. Price is moving down again, & a close below the 161.8 lvl can provide a sell trade.
DO > H4: a close below the 161.8 lvl (0.9396) can provide a sell trade.
