LADIES AND GENTLEMEN OF THE INTERNET: For reasons that are obvious, we (@hayesbrown, ellievhall, myself) are proposing a group watch-and-tweet screening of the cinematic achievement or our time, Jupiter Ascending. It will be Wednesday night, as close to 8pm Eastern as possible – SYNCHRONIZE YOUR AMAZONS – and everyone is invited. There will be a hashtag (uhm, #jupiterascending? Should we be more specific?). You will have to supply your own popcorn.

FULL DISCLOSURE: I have not actually seen the movie myself! I have only read the many, many wonderful things other people I trust (or at least am amused by) have written about it. And I have seen this. I do not need to know more. This will be the best $19.99 I’ve ever spent that doesn’t involve chocolate, and it may yet involve chocolate (don’t tell me how to live!). 

There is no pre-registration, there are no rules (though there is a drinking game), this is space capitalism at its finest.
