Few things make us feel more proud than seeing people praising Full Service Shop because it gave them gender euphoria.
(thank you @echoofadream for these lovely tags)
Over the 5 years since the game was released we've seen a number of comments akin and had some given to us directly and every time our heart swells.
Honestly, after we had our own bottom surgery we revisited the game and read the sequence we had written when we were imagining it as a distant dream:
In a hospital room years later, despite the lack of miracle Plug-and-Play technology, it felt like that. The gender euphoria I always dreamed of and wrote into a script became quite real. I suppose I am another person this game gives gender euphoria to.
It's almost surreal to remember being a newly out trans woman, pre-HRT, and pouring that dream into Ren'Py and having it come true down the line.
Still don't have my LED touch plate that can let me play Snake, though.
So, for those wondering...
Full Service Shop is an adult visual novel we helped work on in 2020 as part of a 30 day game jam. It is in no way our game. In fact our credit has been taken off of the itch.io page. We only helped work on it, nothing more.
The game puts you in the perspective of a character going to a cyborg surgery clinic to get new genitals installed and then tested by one of 4 quirky characters.
Each tech represents a specific fetish. One's a spoiler so I won't list them but I'll note that the one I worked on was the hypnokink route in which the technician hypnotizes the patient and gives them the option of being relaxed, obedient or acting as a drone.
The game utilizes a Safeword system so you can tailor the scene to match your comfort, including avoiding the kinky stuff and sex scenes entirely.
We know we don't have a lot of clout on Tumblr Dot Com but FSS is one of the delisted games which was impacted by the recent purge and we know the studio rely on Patreon support and game purchases (it's name your price, free being a valid price if desired) to keep doing what they're doing.
We only did writing for Kato and some mild code work and the bulk of the soundtrack. We're no longer affiliated with the studio. We see no money from the game, nor do we seek any. Sadly we've not spoken to the devs in over 3 years.
But even still. We'd appreciate signal boosting and purchases. It remains one of the things we are most proud of in our life and we want to hype it up and get more eyes on it (and the dev's other works) - Check it out.
