First turning with my new Rikon lathe. rustic walnut bowl

Fun project for a Sunday afternoon. An intermediate level project for a beginner like me. Using basswood made for easy cutting.

sycamore & ebony picture frame made in the craftsman style. I found a board with a little quartersawn pattern and wanted to try something different.

Cypress wallart I made several years ago. I started by bending the strips around an arc mold while glueing them together. Without having a purpose I just played with ideas until the fish and turtle came to me. I used cross lap joints and glue to hold them together.
