Lmao dude do you realize Harley’s character is younger than I am? Like she’s been around for not even 25 years yet? Batman/Bruce Wayne is NOTHING like his character started as. The same goes for the majority of any character in comics.

It’s called character progression. Characters change and evolve over time. Progression and evolution aren’t always positive and aren’t always taken well by others.

This is Harley’s story now, this is who she is. Take it or leave it, but your arguments of “IT’S NOT LIKE IT USED TO BE” are irrelevant and a moot point.

But her differences aren’t just that she isn’t with Joker anymore. The ones who complain find her out of character (even though honest to god compared to other characters she is so YOUNG lol) and find her new-found freedom and confidence just aren’t “her.”

This could be such a great new era for Harley, and young/new fans coming into the franchise, who will have an opportunity for another outlet for her character other than the fan favorite “Joker’s psycho girlfriend,” when she is so much more :)
