Spiceland Pike; this is the first road I rode after getting my first road bike. It's the road I first rode with a group. It's a part of every early morning, head light ride I ride during the summer before work and before the sun comes up. It's my default route when I'm lost or tired or lonely. I could ride it blind folded, I feel, and know where all it's pot holes and cracks and gravel are . I can know my fitness level by how I feel over its parts. It's a true friend to me and a reason why I stay where I am.
