Newt Scamander + ✔✔✔✔✔
“He has some attachment issues.”
Just a thought...
While JK Rowling is making spin off movies about textbooks from Harry Potter, what if they did a movie series about the Gilderoy Lockhart textbooks? Each movie would be based on a book, where the first part of the movie would be from Lockhart's point of view, with much flourishing of wands and swishing of cloaks, banishing banshees and such. Then the second half would be the real story as it happened, the toothless hags saving villages. It would have to be a comedy.

“Although the title is “Fantastic Beasts” to me we’re talking about the beast that’s in everyone and the way that we make beasts of others. It is such a dangerous thing to do; to draw a line around a group and say “you’re wrong, you’re inadequate, you’re insufficient and you should be treated thus”. That ‘s at the heart of most of what I write and it’s certainly at the heart of this movie.”
-J.K. Rowling
Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them → Feeding Luminescent Creature and Mooncalves
As Jacob throws pellets, the Mooncalves bob eagerly up and down. Jacob visibly seems to be feeling better, he really likes this… Newt is cradling a luminescent creature with sprouting alien-like tendrils. He feeds the creature with a bottle, while carefully watching how Jacob handles the Mooncalves, he recognizes a kindred spirit.
OKAY BUT WHAT IF...
Credence is a Clearwater like Percy’s Girlfriend?
Then when he comes back it’ll be a Credence Clearwater Revival!
Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them → The Niffler ‘come and get me’
The Niffler sits on a trolley covered in money bags, which it greedily empties into its pouch. The Niffler stares at Newt defiantly as Newt watches through the security bars, aghast, a guard pushes the trolley away down a corridor.
I love how in the third GIF, the Niffler is like "Mmmmmmmine!"
That heartbreaking moment where Newt is screaming and desperate to protect his Fantastic Beasts.

You’re welcome
[Narrator: A scientist in Peru [pause for peep] captured this, escaping from the tiny body [pause for peep] of a sleeping hummingbird. [pause for peep] A high-pitched [pause for peep] but unmistakable snore. [pause for peep] Hummingbirds are loved for their beauty and speed [pause for peep] but this one was behaving a little bit like a human. [pause for peep] The perfect cute-response trigger.]
CAN WE TALK ABOUT NEWT SCAMANDER’S ADORABLE BLOODY FACE, ADORABLE BLOODY MANNERISM, ADORABLE BLOODY EVERYTHING. SQUEEEEEE
Honestly, halfway through Fantastic Beasts, I felt myself lose my heart to him. Like, it was a visceral feeling of “oh, there goes my heart”.
The same thing happened to me!
My philosophy is that worrying means you suffer twice.

Me: Alright! I just scored a new CD Player! Awesome! Animal: Hey! Great CD player! Can I trade you a bunch of flowers for it? Me: You are too cute to say no to! Here you go!

i think we’re out of ink
have you tried turning it on and off again
I have just finished reading Damien Leith's "One More Time" for the third time and I am either extremely biased because I'm a fan, or else Damien is just a freaking fantastic writer. There's a certain honesty in his writing and in the characters he creates that makes them relatable. This novel is about a young man, Sean, who is trekking through Nepal but is also battling his OCD. His mind is constantly playing tricks on him and when they are confronted by terrorists, it sends him into overdrive. I myself have always battled with anxiety and that brings in certain OCD behaviours and when my mind has played some pretty nasty tricks on me, I have often wondered "Why me?" "Am I the only one who ever thinks like this?" Upon getting to know Sean's character and seeing all the things he goes through, I feel very comforted because he goes through very similar things to what I have. And even though the character is fictional, I think Sean is a fairly autobiographical representation of Damien, as he also suffers from OCD. It's just nice to know that you are not alone and when you think you're a total freak because your brain does strange things to you, it's ok because it's just the 'mechanics' of the anxiety as Damien very accurately puts it.
