a conversation with a white man
I just had a 30 year old objectively attractive, affable, gay, southern “white” man (although he insisted that he wasn’t white, but “greek”) state:
Black people in Savannah are like Hispanic people to ya’ll.
This piqued my interest greatly…so, of course, I had to delve into it. In his (paraphrased) words:
Black people in Savannah are, well, ghetto. They’re lazy, have poor moral character…at worst, they’re criminal. And they hate white people; they have no problem fucking you up if you’re white and look scared of them. Fortunately, they never messed with me because I would have fucked one of them up.
When asked about what he thought the difference was being white and black, at least in Savannah, I got the following response:
I can’t speak for all white people, but I was raised in a religious home that taught me real values. I learned how to speak several languages, and got to travel to other countries – that’s not a value that a black person is gonna get in Savannah. They’re raised to not want to work, to be lazy, and just live off of the government. Their culture tells them that the more babies they make, the more money the government will give to them.
And on the change that are happening in America?
White is becoming the new minority. Blacks and hispanics already outnumber whites, and it’s only a matter of time before whites are clearly in the minority. Fortunately I had a lot of privilege growing up because my family had a lot of money, but many of my white friends just didn’t have anything – and the lazy black guy who doesn’t give a shit got a job that should’ve gone to them.
Eventually I couldn’t simply keep asking questions, I had to grill him…I asked, so, you think white people are superior to black people? Even if just in Savannah.
I mean, it sounds really harsh when you put it like that. I wouldn’t say that.
And yet, you’ve said absolutely nothing positive about being African-American, or at least being African American in Savannah.
Well, I guess you’re right…I mean, it sounds really harsh, but I guess we really are superior.
And how do we go about fixing the “problem”?
There’s really no way. I mean, the only way I can think of is just to…eliminate them. It’s part of their culture, and they’re trained from an early age how to use the system and manipulate the government and not work at all. And the only way you could possibly change that is just to eliminate all of them, and start from scratch.
THIS IS A PERSON ALIVE IN WHAT IS SUPPOSED TO BE THE YEAR 2011. THIS IS NOT A TEST. THIS IS ACTUALLY HAPPENING AND IS REAL LIFE, NOT A SCARY CHARACTER WE FLIP BY ON FOX NEWS.
