Marie Yanzapa, 80, is from Bria, the capital of the diamond rich Haute-Kotto prefecture in Central African Republic. Their neighborhood was attacked by armed groups at the end of 2016. All her 6 children died after the attackers set fire to her house. "We were attacked. I don't know who it was. They burned my house and I lost everything, all my children. Now I am taking care of my two grandchildren", said Marie. She now lives in the IDP camp on the outskirts of the town. (With @azad.essa in CAR, June 2017)

Kaltoum Oumar, 45, left a district close to #PK5 in 2014 after her husband was killed by Anti-balaka forces. She first sought refuge in the PK12 district #Bangui before taking up an offer from the International Organisation of Migration (IOM) to move to the camp in the town of Kabo.
