soren only did a few things wrong

The Serenes Massacre happened 20 years prior to the events of Path of Radiance.

In Path of Radiance Sanaki is definitely NOT 20 years old. (I believe she is 10, but that number does not matter. Fact is that she is a child.)

Sanaki and Micaiah are sisters.

Therefore one or both of Micaiah's parents were not killed in the assassination related to the massacre.

They address the moment Sephiran stepped in and basically became Sanaki's dad (good job grandpa.) But I do not recall them addressing the death of Sanaki's birth parents.

This has bothered me for a long time but there is one specific reasonI bring it up.

DID MICAIAH ESCAPE THE FE PROTAG DEAD DAD SYNDROME????

We don't know if he is dead or deadbeat.

... typing that out I realize the word "dead" is in both of those choices.

micaiah’s total disappearance off the face of the earth is written off as her being assumed to have been assassinated alongside misaha, but without any mention of either of her parents also being taken out, it’s moderately safe to assume that those 15 years between misaha’s and sanaki’s reigns most likely had sanaki’s mother ruling as empress before dying, whether by also being assassinated or some other reason like illness.

I wish I could always be with you. That’s all I want. Just…simple…togetherness.

Not only was he aware of the plot, but he was probably one of the few people who knew that in the alpha alpha version of it Senerio (Soren) was planned to be a woman, but they veered in a different direction when his story became too tragic. Heck, they later had a Q&A on the official site stating “Soren is a guy” since a notable chunk of JP players were still confused after playing PoR.
