“I do trust you,” she said, “but this is gonna end horribly.”

“If you trusted me you wouldn't say that” she teased

“I know I’m supposed to like, be great at catch, but I hate catch, honestly.”

“Well I'm great at aiming so you don't even have to try”

“This sounds like a terrible idea…”

“It is not!”

“Sophie, noooo.”

“Just trust me lyss!”

“Yes, but I’m just making sure you understand.”

“Anyways, when was the last time you ate?” she asked in an attempt to change the subject

“In fact, there actually can’t be a next time.”

“You know what I mean” she sighed

“There will be no next time.”

“Damn right there wont”

Jonas’s arms wrapped around her quickly. “And I you.”

“Next time you're not leaving” she chuckled softly

“Have you?”

She gave him, letting herself fall into him completely “I missed you”

He smiled a little. “That wasn’t proper funny.”

“I missed that smile..”

Jonas felt goosebumps rise at her touch. He didn’t touch her back, didn’t dare to, didn’t think he was worthy. “It was so hard to be away from you. I can barely believe I’m looking at you right now.” He was feeling the only thing he’d felt in months, and saying the most honest thing he’d said in months.

“Do you know? Im not actually here, I'm a ghost-” not a good joke and even worse timing.
