Japanese Langblr Introduction
Hello! My name is Soph ☺️ Welcome to my langblr! <3
Quick Introduction:
- 21 years old 🦥
- Junior in college 🦭
- Self studying basic Japanese 🕵️♀️
- fluent in english and tagalog. + A2 level in Spanish 💼
this is actually my sideblog! my main studyblr is @acaemia but I created this because I wanted all my content in one separate space.
I tried learning Japanese back in 2017 because I went on a very brief exchange. I didn’t continue it but I recently got the urge to study it again so here I am!
Goals:
- to treat the language learning journey as a relaxing activity free from any pressure.
- respectfully immerse myself in another culture and in turn help me develop a more open-minded brain.
- study everyday but no time (for now). As long as I review each day it is okay for now.
- find fellow langblrs/ japanese langblrs so I can surround myself with language learners and watch them thrive <3
Blog Content
- daily log on progress + my own photos
- videos of me recapping what I learned (very open to correction if anyone would watch and notice mistakes)
- resources and visual reblogs
I’m excited to keep studying Japanese! This is a language I’m picking up on my own and it’s refreshing because I’m doing it out of want and not need.
My biggest why is doing this because I trust that I can do it. So what if Japanese can only be used so much around the world? It’s still a language and I want to learn it.
Anime is also a factor (LOL) it really improved my mental health dearly. I know someday I’ll be able to see a random sentence or scene and be able to read it. I just want to learn and beat my anxiety. Thanks for reading! We got this <3 :)
