JINAE: i do !! pillows are the best and i like to sleep in a sea of them

JINAE: and bc of that, anytime i go to the store, i buy a new pillow if i can find one that passes the test.

JINAE: weird, i know, but,,,, oh well.

SOOHYUN: Listen, the fluffier the better as I like to say.

SOOHYUN: Don't worry, I would tell you if I was actually upset :P

SOOHYUN: I'm simply teasing you

mali stared back at him with wide eyes, half in disbelief at how they’d ended up here. she blinked a few times, trying to figure out exactly what response she was supposed to have. “believe me, you won’t hurt me.” she simply responded, expression returning back to normal as she shook her head. “i’m pretty tough. hard to hurt someone like me.”

Soohyun bit his bottom lip, thinking this entire thing through in his mind. What started off as an attempt to get her into his company quickly turned into them maybe going on a date. “Did you have a preference for where we ate? I mean, I don’t mind where we eat or anything. I just want to make sure that I can book the restaurant ahead of time. That way we don’t have to wait.”

it’s not exactly the greatest to stereotype, but then again heaven isn’t the greatest person in the world so what did he care about hurting people’s feelings. so with no filter he’s saying the first thought that came to mind the second he saw this man’s face, “sorry. didn’t peg you as the type that would be into guys.” how long had it been since heaven had just flirted around and messed around. he supposed it had been a good while now since he’s giving in with a shrug, “alright, how about you buy me some dinner first and then we’ll see if you get to have any fun tonight.” 

Soohyun raised an eyebrow at the first comment the other had made to him. “I mean, I don’t discriminate based on what is in someone's pants.” The boy chuckled, shaking his head at the idea of limiting himself based on gender. “Okay, that sounds like a plan. I believe I have enough on me to afford some dinner for the two of us.” Of course, the boy was simply kidding, he just enjoyed getting a rise out of everyone. “Where would you like to eat? Do you have a preference?”

JINAE: i'm sorry, i'm just keeping them warm for you, that's all ://

SOOHYUN: No no I was kidding with you, I promise.

SOOHYUN: We can share the pillows, I'm sure you have plenty there!

AREUM: time management skills are a wonderful thing

AREUM: your life can't be just about building this empire, you got to live!

SOOHYUN: Maybe one of these days I'll take up your advice.

SOOHYUN: It's not even about building my company, it's about those I have signed.

SOOHYUN: Making their dreams truly happen.

“are you asking me out?” she asked jokingly, fanning herself dramatically as she pretended to swoon. “a little unprofessional, but i don’t think i’ve ever been on a real date.” she tucked a loose strand of hair behind her ear, head tilting ever so slightly to the side - one of mali’s most reliable tells that she was, in fact, flirting. “but you better pick a good movie. no snoozefests.” she pointed a stern finger at him, a suggestive glimmer in her eyes. 

Soohyun chuckled at her response, raising an eyebrow as he thought things through. Was he flirting? Was he, in fact, trying to go out with this girl, or simply fucking around with her? He didn’t want to mess things up and in turn, hurt her, that wouldn’t be fair. “Listen I’ll be honest with you, I do think you’re gorgeous. You have a great personality to match which is extremely rare, I just don’t want to hurt you. if we’re going to try this, we have to go slow.”

JINAE: bc they're already here with me

JINAE: so until you get here, they're mine

SOOHYUN: That's so unfair.

SOOHYUN: I like those pillows the best.

despite how it may seem heaven wasn’t one that was “hit on” often. in high school he wasn’t the most popular student. once he became an idol his reputation tended to precede him so even making friends proved to be difficult. the amount of people that approached him, in public or not, declined more and more each year. so when the compliment comes heaven can’t seem to process it in his small brain. 

for a long while he’s just eyeing the hand with his confusion clear on his face. he is glancing from the hand to the man’s smiling face and then he’s repeating the process a few times before settling on the taller male’s face, “think you got the wrong guy here buddy. maybe your eyes haven’t adjusted well to the light. i’m sure that girl over there would fall into your arms if you hit them with that line.” 

“Why would I lie? What would be the point in that?” Soohyun asked, shaking his head at the mere thought. “I don’t  just walk up to others and tell them that they are good looking.” Soohyun was a man of many qualities  however, lying was not one of them. He didn’t have the time to waste to simply walk up and talk to random people unless it was for a reason. “Who says I was looking for a relationship anyway? Maybe I was just looking for fun.”

mali laughed, throwing her arms up defensively as she did so. “hey, how am i supposed to know?” she asked, her head tilting a bit to the side as she raised an eyebrow. “so what i’m learning is i’m getting tied to a chair regardless? wouldn’t be the first time.” her last comment is punctuated with a wink, in true mali fashion.

“Oh come on now If I was heading for a different kind of relations with you I would have more respect for you than that.” Soohyun smirked, raising an eyebrow. “I’m an old-fashioned kind of man. I would want to take you to a dinner and movie first.”

TAEK: Yeah of course!  TAEK: And thank you for the consideration! TAEK: In terms of price, I’m flexible but usually somewhere around $150 per hour and $120 per image is good : ) TAEK: I’m happy to work around that

JINAE: but fine. you have a deal

JINAE: hurry up and get over here before i change my mind

JINAE: or steal all the fluffy pillows 😜

soohyun: THOSE FLUFFY PILLOWS ARE MINE

soohyun: i have claimed them

AREUM: shouldn't you learn to balance work?

AREUM: your life shouldn't be all work and that's it!

soohyun: one would think it gets easier as time goes on

soohyun: i care about those signed to my label though.

JINAE: bc i don't believe in take backs

JINAE: but i suppose you're free to come join me now

soohyun: listen we are going to have a FAIR round of truth or dare :P

JINAE: it does ! it has lots of different kinds of pillows, actually.

JINAE: and i'll let you join, but on one condition ...

JINAE: you have to play truth or dare with me bc i'm bored out of my Mind.

JINAE: do we have a deal ?

soohyun: alright fine, i'll play truth or dare. HOWEVER we will have guidelines for this truth or dare...

soohyun: i refuse to run around the place in my underwear.

AREUM: no time to go home and grab a few things, huh?

soohyun: casual hotel sono.

sooyhun: nope, no time at all.

soohyun: honestly that's probably why i have no relationship lol
