Starting my year off slow
I was going to do all these wonderful things this weekend to get me started off right. Â Did I? Â NOPE. Â So instead of running and doing my budget what did I do? Â I decided to try some new keto recipes and I was very interested in the chaffle thing. I tried the chaffles that mimic actual waffles. Â It was okay. Â I might need to add some more stevia but the Chaco syrup had the texture of syrup but no taste. Â It was weird but it worked if you were craving waffles. Â
This got me thinking, I needed to buy candles so while I was at the store I got the mini waffle maker, a toaster oven and headed home. Â I came down to my workout room that has a little kitchenette in it and made my husband and I Pizza Chaffles - from this site

Can I tell you that it was the most amazing thing and I almost cried because now I can fix that pizza craving without breaking my diet. We tried making a large pizza and I was not a fan of the dough. I just ate the toppings. Â But this pizza chaffle has me wanting to buy another mini waffle maker and take to work and make my own there. Â I need to do some research and see if I can make the dough ahead of time and just put the toppings on before I put in the toaster oven. Â So I am thinking I am going to do great on keto this time. Â My goal is to try one new keto meal a week and see how it goes. I still have to take my January pics but I will get that this week.
