Btw, these are fucking amazing. Never have to drink gatorade again!!!!! The Salt Sticks company realized a ton of ppl with autonomic dysfunction were using their electrolyte capsules to manage their illness, so they formulated a new kind aimed specifically at chronically ill people and the Vitassium Club mentioned on the label here is a list you can get on by filling out an online form, that will give you 20% off every order of Vitassium. You do not need to give proof of diagnosis to get on the club. All you need to do is tell them "yes I have a chronic illness which I need to manage with electrolyte supplements". They don't need a diagnosis name or a doctor's name. It is self reported. SO SIGN UP!!!!!!!

I know this doesn’t look amazing or anything but I wanted to post this anyway. Because this cost less than 1 US dollar per serving! It’s actually my first time trying to make ramen. The fridge was almost empty but I managed to find some ingredients to make ramen. I cooked the egg for a little too long but other than that it was pretty good! It’s in no way authentic but it was good, cheap, simple and quick! I’m going to write down the ingredients I used and the price for them. I know prices are different everywhere but these are the approximate prices I found here (fyi I live in Sweden).
Ingredients (and price per serving)
Noodles (26 cents)
1 egg (22 cents)
Carrot (12 cents)
Boullion (14 cents)
Scallion (0.7 cents)
Sriracha (something like 0.2 cents)
Water (free)
~This adds up to 83 cents per serving~
(7,55 kronor) !!!
I cooked the noodles in the boullion water and boiled the egg and then just assembled everything. I also threw some peas and sesame seeds in there but the peas didn’t really fit in so I didn’t bother add them in the ingredient list and the sesame seeds are just optional and probably very cheap since I used so little.
I just want to add that you could add other things for example some more protein and you could still keep it super cheap.
Also I want to say again that this is not authentic and I’m not telling you to do it in this way, I just wanted you guys to know how cheap and adaptable this dish is! You could use basically anything you have in the fridge. Vegetables or mushrooms would be great. And some kind of meat. Even bacon could go well! Use those little scraps you have left to make sure you actually use everything you’ve bought so you don’t have to throw stuff out.
The next time I make ramen I’m gonna try to actually look at a recipe and try to learn and make something thats more authentic maybe 😂
