I hate AI (obviously) in its current state. While it could be a tool in the future, right now it is hurting mental health, jobs and spaces for artists, the environment, and much more that I myself do not have full understanding of.

And what better character is there to embody hating AI for hurting people and the environment than Sonic The Hedgehog?

My math teacher played it for us in class last week and it was the first time a movie has made me cry in years.

For me, that's a big thing.

Movies do tug at my heartstrings; I get very attached to characters and get sad when something bad happens, but to actually be brought to tears?

PHM is such a good movie. The way Grace is forced to go on a sucide mission and its "justified" because he doesn't have a wife or kids or a dog, like not having those things makes his life meaningless, it's just so sad.

He had students he cared about. He was a teacher for crying out loud; he may not have had biological kids but every teacher I've met has viewed their students as their own kids.

And the bond between Grace and Rocky is built up in such a short time but so effortlessly that you can feel the desperation they feel to keep the other alive. I'm sure the book does an even better job at that, which is why I hope I can get it very soon.

Also I'm a sucker for believable science fiction so all of the science talk in the movie had me kicking my feet.

I know that he's holding the rose wrong, but there is a reason for that which I will post about soon! I will also post about his personality and place in the Sonic universe as I flesh it out some more.

And I ended up with the first peice of art that I am truly proud of. It took all day, and it's not even that good, but I would like to present—

But while looking for some Tailsage content (because there is practically NONE), I started thinking about how both of these ships are quite similar--Kit is Surge's little brother, who is Sonic's rival; and Sage is Eggman's daughter, who... famously hates Sonic--but also vastly different. Both embody the Hero's 'sidekick' x Villain's 'assistant', which I think is why I am drawn to both of them, but Sage and Tails' dynamic is Inventor x Invention (even if it isn't Tails' invention), Stoic x Bubbly, etc, while Kit and Tails' dynamic is like a dark mirror with Kit's origins. Plus, Kit and Tails have a more blushy, young-love kind of feel than Sage and Tails, at least in my opinion.
