Day 14 - Faces from different angles (1)
Struggled a lot with the down view today 😭 It’s definitely something I need to practice more.
But I really enjoyed coloring the other two, especially experimenting with the skin tones and shadows. 🤎

it’s a long trek to mordor…
First lesson from my new sketchbook ⚾️✏️
I really enjoyed drawing this one. I’m trying to get more comfortable with dynamic poses and figures instead of always staying in my comfort zone.
Slowly getting better, one drawing at a time 🤍
Day 13 - I’ve decided to take drawing seriously.
Not because I think I’m already good at it.
Not because I want to become perfect overnight.
And definitely not because I went to art school.
I’m self-taught. I’ve been drawing a little here and there for years, mostly manga and things I enjoyed, but I never really took the time to study drawing as a discipline.
Now, I want to be a true beginner again.
To actually learn the foundations: anatomy, proportions, hands & feet, dynamic poses, perspective, light & shadows, color, composition, environments, faces, expressions, movement…
I want to understand why a drawing works, not just copy what I see.
So this new sketchbook is going to be my little laboratory: studies, ugly sketches, experiments, mistakes, finished drawings, random ideas … everything.
I also picked up some new supplies at Boesner because I want to give myself the tools to really explore.
No pressure.
No pretending I know everything.
Just practice, curiosity, consistency, and a lot of drawing.
I’m self-taught, but I’m not self-limited.
This is the beginning. ♡

Day 12 - Goku X Chichi
My favorite couple in Dragon Ball.
I wanted to redraw their beautiful story because I love them so much , they were such a big part of my childhood. 🥹
A love that is lasting and understated. 🤍
I still have a lot to improve technically, but I really love how the coloring turned out!
I’ll keep learning and improving. 🎨✨
i love people who absolutely suck at drawing and are aware of it but you can still see the joy in each and every one of their works. it's so important to me that they're happy
