My sweet baby girl is growing up. #3rdgradebibles at #church day. I loved how the #sermon today mentioned that we’re trusting them with stories in the #Bible that would be considered inappropriate. However our #pastor was mindful to speak about how that’s a privilege many kids don’t have. Many kids are not spared from violence, food and housing insecurity, lack of education and more. My kids have the privilege of so much, but have also experienced unspeakable pain and situations that no child should face. Through it all - we have this beautiful faith community that have walked hand in hand with them since before they were born. As they get older and deal with more situations, I’m glad there is a place and space for them to navigate life surrounded by loving people riding the rollercoaster of life with us. Grateful for these milestones and cherishing every moment along the way! Thank you to my village. There are too many to mention so I’m sending love vibes to you all in the atmosphere. But special love to @glennumc for providing such a loving and safe space for my family through the years. Never thought I’d raise my kiddos in church. And here I am.
