“The Hats That Crowned Broadway”
Does anyone still wear a hat? For designers on Broadway this season, the answer was yes, actually, they very much do. Here’s a look at a season of heady headwear. (x)
I’d say everyone who enjoys costumery and millinery should have a look at this brief piece from the New York Times about some of this season’s hat designs. I’ve talked about a few of them in more depth on the blog, but it’s always cool to see a professional take, including commentary from some of this season’s designers!
In the end it all comes down to this: people love webber’s hits, but they wouldn’t go to his sex dungeon
not to stereotype but all theatres actors grew up as closeted gay catholic boys from the midwest, probably ohio, and all playwrights are neurotic gay jews from new york with upper middle class parents and they are boyfriends
no offence but like… what if they aren’t american?
my statement is empirically true and not open to argument or disagreement
Ugh can we stop with the “neurotic Jew” thing? I’m frankly too tired & busy with other things right now to write a whole long post unpacking why the stereotype is bad but… just don’t. Unless you’re Jewish, but I can’t tell from OP’s blog if they are.
im very gentile. i eat jesus every sunday, as the goyim do
