Hema: "I'm also partial to Jade Mint! Or peppermint. Spearmint. /ahem/ ... I also really like flowers, like daisies."

Red: "I looove prismberry plants! I think earth strawberries are the closest things to them? But instead of red, ours are shiny and pinkish white! They're infamously hard to take care of, they have a lot of thorns, and they can be very fickle... but the berries are so delicious that it's worth all the struggle to help it bloom. Hema keeps one of them in his room."

Blue: "I'm not one for flowery stuff, except for Bluebells... but carnivorous plants are metal as hell.~"

Frecks: "Gotta agree with Blue, carnivorous and gemivorous plans are SO cool, even if they. Also keep me up at night sometimes. Did you know there's a gemivorous plant that can imitate voices? So it lures gems into a web of vines and eats them? Absolutely horrifying! :D"

Yellow: "Ugh. Plant life obeys no laws, it's clingy, invasive-... I. Suppose, though, if I had to choose something. Redwoods or other megafauna trees. And Buttercups."

Morgan: "Anything that allows me to make new drinks, but I am heavily biased to the potent power of a clinging Jet Vine. Their leaves make a bitter, concentrated syrup that, despite its overbearing presence and offensive taste, can complement a surprising number of drinks and make them better. You have to know how to care for it, though, as, even though you can physically treat the plant very roughly with no issue, it's very sensitive to being in the wrong environment."

Lets say you could tell your past self anything at all what would you tell them?

Would you give some sort of reassurance that things will get better or would you tell them something you wished you knew when you were younger ie a lesson you may have learnt the hard way

Is there anything that gets either of you so animated and excited blue,yellow like white gets?

Blue: "Yeah Priss is preeettyy different in public compared to in private.~"

Yellow: "That's none of our business to speak about, Blue."

Blue: "Psh, anyways, I don't get like Priss does."

Yellow: "Says the gem that needs ten feet of clearance around her when she's watching matches at the coliseum."

Blue: "... A'ight you got me there."

Yellow: "As for myself... I do not suffer such bouts of uncontrollable exuberance. The Diamond of Law must be precise, mature, and in control of her emotions at all times."

Blue: "Pearls and fashion."

Yellow: "BLUE-"

White: "Why thank you for asking, I have one of them right here! Volt worms are- stop biting me - volt worms are troublesome little creatures that live in the walls of most facilities that produce electricity, which is what they feed off of by squeezing between contacts or chewing on wires. They also eat the sediment that flakes off of mica, and solidify it into tiny shards of purified crystals that are very hard to replicate in a laboratory! This new species I discovered can take higher levels of electricity than any previously discovered specimens, and could be the key to developing a more electricity-resistant silicate carbonite blend that could withstand super cell storms and protect against certain types of emp attacks! Yellow's been trying to figure that out for centuries!"

Blue: "Mmmm okay so I wasn't GONNA answer even if you asked me, buuut-"

"-since you have great taste and know how to flatter a legend like myself, I guess I can let your little infraction pass."

"........ But I mean you weren't entirely wrong, Yellow and White would be more into the sciency stuff, I just wanna know-"

"WHY did you send animals up there??? That's messed up, man."

White: "Fascinating, But you are still using burnable fuels, which cannot be good for the longevity of your galactic exploration programs... I am more impressed such a primitive species managed to get to their moon."

Yellow: "I do not have the time nor resources to keep an eye on Earth. And there is no 'plan'. Our deal with Pink assures that we never have to make contact with that planet again. And we're keeping it that way."

Blue: "Oh so ya ask Sparky and Priss about it but not ME?"

"Nah nah I get it. I'm just the entertainment Diamond, who cares about my opinion?"

Yellow: "..."

"As close as two gems like us... were allowed to be."

Hema: "Honestly...? Earth. I wasn't INTENDED to go there, but it stood out the most to me."

"Sure, humans are... kind of gross and scary and the smells coming from their colonies were overwhelming for me, but."

"I saw some things there that surprised me. And, well. The fact that there were gems and humans living there, so long after the destruction of the war... and the fact they managed to develop as much as they did with how limited their technology and physical forms are... I was, impressed."

"Things are so, so hard for you all down there, but you persevere in spite of it all. And some of you are still so kind, despite how scary it must be to be human. In... at least one way that I can understand all too well."

Hema: "Well you see I had a bet going with White Diamond that I could pester Yellow enough until she ACTUALLY installed an air lock somewhere that she could shoot me out of when I made one too many puns. So I kept making as many as possible for a week."

What made you decide to do the whole make a galactic empire with you leading it?

cuz from how you described it in your early years you basically had no clue what you were capable of and had to learn everything manually unlike how gems are now

What was the whole catalyst for you 4 at the start that made you realise you can build an empire

Heck did you even know your essences could make other gems in the beginning? Bet that was a fun surprise

While were at it what WAS thee first gem you created intentionally or unintentionally?

Yellow: "Well to start, we didn't emerge simultaneously. Each of us took our own time. White was alone for an unknown amount of years before she found me at the emergence site."

White: "I can not forget the look you gave me when we met, you thought Homeworld was alllll yours."

Yellow: "I had no reason to think anyone else was there except me!"

White: "Aside from the me-shaped hole in the rock."

Yellow: "Observation is a skill you forge, not a stars-given talent."

Blue: "Okay those two are getting nowhere. We started making gems because we wanted to see if we could. And we were bored."

"So. SO BORED."

"Then we started getting too busy to do things we wanted, so we wanted to start designating tasks to new gems to make our lives easier. So we tried to make more Diamonds like us by shoving our residue crystals in the ground. Didn't work. I started trying to tame the wildlife to entertain myself."

"It only worked a little."

"White saw some crystal carriers and their little colonies they had, with a matriarch and a bunch of smaller workers, and we thought we could do the same thing. So we stopped trying to make Diamonds, and tried to make something smaller. Our first successful gems were quartzes."
