it's a terrible life. AND it sucks

So you see the thing about Cas and Crowley is that Cas is Crowley's manic pixie dream girl savior and Cas loves anything with a morally gray area as long as they appreciate humanity and Crowley is a lover and supporter of the arts and Cas thinks everyone deserves a chance to be saved and Crowley is a sycophant who would do anything to be loved even when he knows it's killing him and in S6 every time Dean is close to figuring out the truth of their deal, Crowley shows up and takes the hit of the blame because he knows how much Cas cares about Sam and Dean ("The big lie, the Winchesters still buy it. The good Cas, the righteous Cas. And as long as they still believe it, you get to believe it.") and when Crowley first asks Cas to make a deal, Cas says "I was no fool, I knew who Crowley was and what he did. But I was smarter than him" and at the end of S6 Crowley confronts Cas by asking him "I know what I am. What are you, Cas?" and Crowley idealizes him to the point he wants him to be God and he knows Cas loves having a third option and then Cas takes all the souls of purgatory and betrays him because God would never let a demon be in control, and then he kills Raphael but lets Crowley go because he "has plans for him" the plans being giving him control of Hell but only in the way Cas wants, and Crowley says Yes, even though he was ready and accepted Cas was going to kill him, "Would you like a drink before you smite me?" and right before that, when Cas shows up and Crowley says "The jig is up. You found me." and Cas says, "I never lost you."
