Like, I get that they took down a human trafficking mafia, but a part of me really wanted Makoto to just fuck everyone over and keep working with Akemi. All the other members of Team Confidence are always keeping the real plan from him and manipulating him to do what they want and they still have the audacity to say he's on the wrong for freaking out when some crazy shit happens. The guy got fucking traumatized on the last season when he killed his father after watching his "friends" (not really sure if they count as friends? Probably yes, idk) die for like the third time and they still take two whole months to explain ANYTHING about their plan

I really wish he had just betrayed them there, he's always one of the most important parts of the scams and they trust him so little. On the other hand Akemi really put all her confidence on him, and I know the show puts all of these parallelisms between Akemi and Makoto's mother to make you root for them, but the woman really cared about him, she was more worried when he faked his death than all of the other people he had known for YEARS
