Quick PSA cause I keep seeing it in fics and it trips my brain every time: Prosthetic is an adjective. The noun for what Jack Abbot has attached to his leg instead of his foot is a prosthesis.
Saying โhe removed his prosthetic and laid downโ is the same as saying โhe removed his red and laid downโ. See how itโs missing a word? You either say prosthetic leg or you say prosthesis on its own ๐๐ป
