If you didn’t take Abyssal Accumulator, you’re wrong. I’ve dreamed of infinite run energy since the first day I played Runescape, but I’ll be damned if I didn’t make the right choice. Do you realize how much 85% is?? I tell you tomorrow you automatically save 85% of the gas in your car. 85% of the cereal in your bowl. 85% of the toilet paper you use. Would you be asking, “why isn’t it 90?” An 85% save-ammo rate on Ranged and Magic is simply irreplaceable, and I fully plan on choosing a similar relic in the next League.

And don’t come at me with any of that synergy shit about, “you can ignore infinite run if you take the relic later that sends things to your bank for you,” phrasing it like you can get away with passing on the Obvious Best with some clever maneuvering later.

And yeah, I walked up Mount Karuulm like a noob. I was also watching tv, or planning my next move, like I always am when I play. Like I always have. And I watched my peers fly past me, a colony of polite but teasing hares on the superhighway to the rune shop, again, to spend what little money they had on SIX TIMES as many runes of every type. I, the tortoise on my high horse, walked most long distances with my head held high and my quiver full of arrows. Because remember: I could still run. I could get most places from 100 run energy, and I’ve been going afk to log out for years anyway. Don’t get me wrong, I did a considerable amount of walking, certainly compared against Zero walking. And in that time, I looked up the quests, I researched my slayer tasks, I looked up alchemy prices. I did whatever you normally do when you aren’t playing your Twisted League profile. Stamina potions have made us impatient.

In conclusion, yes it did suck to have to walk sometimes, but I much preferred always having an excess of arrows and runes. Thank you for coming to my Ted Talk.
