His little sapphire eyes looked around the night, stellar sky above him, resting his little body on the grass, feeling it's texture tickle him whenever he moved.
He had no idea how, or when he ended up in there, or where were his parents at. He tried Sitting up, putting his hands, covered on those little orange gloves on the green-ish, spiky ground.
βMama?β He looked at his right, then at his left βPapa?β He called once again, not having an answer, and not seeing any familiar faces around, just trees in that dark, yet beautifull night.
His little eyes slowly turned teary, making his vision a little blury by the tears now falling through his glowing yellow cheeks, starting to let out some sobs, as he trembled.
What happened?, Where were his papa and mama?, Where is his aunt?.
In those sobs, he never noticed, or heard, the heavy, metalic steps slowly approaching him from behind, until a male metalic voice called his attention.
β... What are you doing here?β The voice asked, making the little child look back.
What he saw, was a strange spheric-looking robot, sharing his same eyebrows, obviously taller than him, and with weird-looking glowing metalic wings.
β...β The young sphere said nothing, just looked up at him clearly nervous, and scared.
The robot put himself on his knees, to atleast look better at the little yellow one at the eyes.
βAgain, kidβ His voice softened a bit, just to not scare him that much βWhat are you doing here?, Do you remember how do you ended up in hereβ.
He had no answer, once again, well, not the one he would expect.
βW-Where's papa and mama...?β The 5 year old asked, with his broken little voice.
β...β The creature looked at him, his gaze softened aswell βSorry, little one, but I do not know where your parents are atβ.
βMmmh...β The child once again looked down, sniffing a bit with his tears still falling.
The older of the two seemed worried, and gently, wiped off the youngest's tears, and later put his finger (said that he used to wipe off his tears) under his chin, in order to lift it up so he can see him.
βYou seem conflicted about this place, and how you ended up in here, yes?β He asked, he never stopped using that softened tone on his voice.
The little one nodded, looking at him with a mix of innocence and sadness.
βWell... You are on the Deity Realm, don't worry, in this place, you'll be safeβ He comforted him, petting his head gently with those redd-ish metalic hands.
βWha... What's a... D... Deity Realm...?β The minor asked, clearly confused.
βThe Deity Realm is a safe place where yellow orbs like you, at a certain point of their lives, ends up in here, in order to devepolve some powersβ He explained as Best as he could, he still wondered, why they had to take him here at such young age?, Now that was just cruel.
βOhhh... Then... Then I'm like... A superhero?β He asked, a little amazed by that fact.
βWell!, Erm... Sorta, but you won't have to fight The Bad guys, well, not at such young ageβ He answered, still on his knees infront of him.
βBut why?β He asked, once again.
βBecause is not necesary for a child to have such responsability, specially at... Uhm... How old are you, little one?β
βI'm...β Little Pac started to count with his little fingers, showing his palm with his five fingers showing βFiveβ.
βWelp, specially at five years old, you still have a lot to learn, and a childhood, and tenagehood to live forβ.
βOhhhhβ He didn't understood so well, yet still nodded, he still had a Lot of questions, yet didn't wanted ask them all in once, Welp, not for Now.
βI wonder, and ask, once again...β He sat down next to him, looking down at the youngest of the presents in that place βHow did you ended up in here?, Do you remember?β.
βMmmh...β He looked down, thinking, Trying to remember what happened βI don't know, I remember I was playing with my auntβ.
βYes!, My aunt, she's the bestβ The little boy smiled, with a sparkle of happiness on his eyes βThen I saw something falling from the sky, I don't know what it was, but my aunt told me it was from the bad guysβ.
βThe bad guys?β He asked once again, blinking in surprise.
βMhm!, The bad guys, then... Then I saw mama and papa running, calling me and my aunt, later... Well... Later everything turned white, and boom!, I woke up hereβ He finished his story, in a way every little child would say.
βMmh... I see...β He looked down, seemed a bit conflicted, and even angry at the same time.
βGreat, just great, not only some bastards killed mortals, but also killed a child!, Specially him. Ugh... Sometimes, the pacmanity is such a pain...β The creature though to himself, with an angry frown, later, said frown changed to a conflicted one βNow what should I do with him?, I can't train him, he's too young... Yet I can't let him on his own, he will need someone to protect himβ.
His thoughs were interruped when a little hand touched his, he looked down to the child once again, his black gaze stopped on that sapphire gaze full of innocence, and curiousity.
βSorry for interrupting, but... What's your name, mister?, And... And what are you?β He asked, with still curiousity and innocence on his little eyes.
The creature sighed, and just got up.
βMy name, young fireflyβ He showed his hand, in order to let the child grab it βIs Toc-Man, and I'm the guardian of this realmβ He smiled, softly, showing a bit his sharp teeth.
βGuardian?β The little, glowing-yellow child grabbed his hand, getting up Slowly, his eyes never stopped looking at him.
βYes, a guardianβ He nodded.
βThen... Then you'll protect me?β That question took the oldest by surprise.
Him?, Protecting a child?, Well... He already took care of this realm, and helped other yellow deities growing and devepolving their powers for centuries, protecting a little child for some thousands of years won't be that difficult, right?
β... Yes, little childβ He smiled once again βAnd let me tell you, that under my care, no one, will hurt you ever againβ
With that, they both started to walk, between questions and some answers.
Luckily, these two will be just fine.
