    STEVE WATCHES HER CLOSELY TO GAUGE HER REACTION : HE WANTS to make up for this, for his ignorance, or for whatever Carol is mad about now. She’s usually mad about something - Steve would never call her petty, he’s just struggling to follow along with how she feels a lot of the time ( but not for lack of trying ). Now, he rests his hands on his hips, face softening slowly in relief as he hears the FLIRTATIOUS tone in Carol’s voice, & when she touches him. He LAUGHS :        “ I THINK HE MIGHT LIKE IT, CAROL. ”        Steve answers, teasingly, casting a glance over in Tommy’s direction - but yeah, he’s too busy to notice them leaving for just a few minutes together. He rests his hand briefly against the small of Carol’s back, nudging her with his shoulder gently.         “ LET’S GOOOO ... ”

    STEVE FROWNS SLIGHTLY, HIS FOCUS ENTIRELY ON CAROL NOW. he can tell she’s genuinely upset about this, so he stops trying to brush it off & pays closer attention. He should’ve noticed - he knows that. But he’s BUZZED. & his eyes have been on the back of Tommy’s head for the past twenty minutes, anyways. He sighs softly, eyebrows furrowing together, & offers at the very least, an apology.         “ I’M SORRY CAROL, LOOK. I’LL STICK WITH YOU FROM NOW ON, OKAY ? ”        He glances back in the direction of the girl, just briefly, before looking back to Carol, the look in his eyes showing that his words are genuine.        “ LET’S GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. JUST US, WHAT DO YOU THINK ? ”

    HARLEY’S SMILE GROWS SLIGHTLY AS THE OTHER COMPLIMENTS her city : sweet is RIGHT ! Finally, someone who’s down for her CHAOS instead of wanting to run away immediately. Besides, she’s like, reaaaaaally pretty ... maybe this shows on Harley’s face by accident, with the way her eyes are glittering. She doesn’t CARE. She wants to show her a fun time. Her hands clap together before she snatches up Atty’s hand.        “ HMMM, I DUNNO ! MAYBE WE CANNNN ... SET SOMETHIN’ ON FIRE ! C’MON, I’M SURE THERE’S A CAR JUST DESPERATELY WAITING FOR ... A MAKEOVER ! ”

    THE SMILE ON THE BOY’S FACE SPREADS RIGHT TO HIS EYES, & he begins to giggle as Regulus feigns surprise when he comes over. He looks up at him with wide eyes, gasping audibly at the concept of a surprise - or a PRESENT. Draco knew it was for him : he’s the only child in the house.        “ I’M NOT AN ELF ! ”        He laughs out, before reaching up to take the other’s hand between small fingers.        “ OH, WHAT IS IT, REG, WHAT IS IT ? ”
