passing time by scrolling through the naver app, finger listlessly swiping past articles or updates her already knew about but multitudes of news popped up on the home page that dealt with various idols nonetheless. all to which kept junhong updated due to his busy schedule, leaving him unable to interact much with those who were in a similar profession as him. not that he had ever before, always one to stick close to his hyungs due to his shy nature. plus during his free time he leaned towards resting when given the chance. alas, he stopped by an update that caught his attention and for some reason made him have a short burst of laughter. ‘ the challenge of making a paddle with Joshua?! ’ the aforementioned person was one of his hubaes if he was correct, his number exchanged with junhong out of common courtesy during one of the many times they’ve been on similar shows together. other than that they’ve never interacted aside from when they were both promoting, respectful greetings exchange or a nod here and there upon passing. that is to say, junhong himself never made an effort-- until this morning. be it whim or the fact he was tired as per usual but he sent out a text without much thought to it.

          still tired from last night’s meet and greet the young idol found himself collapsing onto the soft embrace of his bed, exhaustion found it’s home inside junhong’s body without remorse. even if he was utterly comfortable and the room too quiet, due to the fact he no longer had to live in the dorms (unless jongup hyung decided to barge in), there was still an ache of fatigue gnawing at his bones. that is not to say he minded the end of the year events, busy schedules kept his mind off other useless things but that didn’t mean he was slowly being burnt-out. nonetheless, he knew that he’d have to prepare for another time-consuming event: 'Idol Star Athletics Championship’, hearing about it from his group members was comforting but he also wanted another person’s opinion. with that in mind, he rolled over to his side and picked up his phone; fingers tapped against the screen idly and sifted through his contact list. finding the number he wanted, his lith fingers quickly typed a few texts before sending it within less than two minutes. there was little room for hesitance on his part and he wondered if there would be a reply.
