Lying to others is a bad thing to become accustomed to, but lying to yourself is even more harmful. The first thing you should strive for is to be honest with yourself and ask questions. The mind is a busy buzzing place, so plenty of water and a good amount of sleep can help! If not, there are activities you can do that may help also! I enjoy things like painting, enjoying the sun, drinking tea and meditating because it's very calming for me! Perhaps some of these may work for you as they have for me. Sometimes just submerging yourself in the sounds of nature for a while helps to bring your stress down. Perhaps sit under a nice shady spot under a tree and just listen to the wind blow the rustling leaves as the birds soar away in the blue sky singing their songs. Know when to take a break, don't exhaust yourself. Know when to step back and keep your breathing steady and in control. You might feel as if everything is out of your control, but it isn't. In your moment right here and now can control your own actions and shape the future with them. And if you aren't able to, that's ok too. It doesn't make you a failure. We learn and we become stronger than we were yesterday. Find what matters to you most and let it drive you forward. Learn, grow, and cherish the friendships that you make along the way!
