The thrill of it! turned 9 today!

Sight For Kids is a project of @lionsclubs that provides children hard of seeing the prescription eyeglasses they need and the surgical care worse cases require. This year, we are rolling out the project in Laguna to benefit over 230,000 children in public elementary schools across 6 cities and 24 municipalities, in addition to those already served by counterpart clubs in the province. Yesterday, we signed agreements with the Provincial Government and DepEd to launch the activity. Institutional partnerships at this level of government allow service activities such as SFK to scale at a healthy pace and saturate larger segments of underserved communities. With the private sector and local government joining hands, serving our underprivileged and less-fortunate is now more efficient and coordinated.
