I’m sorry but I can’t stop looking at these gifs. Two of the most fascinating yet mysterious people in the same little boxes. Maybe I’ve studied Chernobyl all these years because we honestly have no idea what really went on there. It’s so difficult to find information that goes deeper than the surface. You get the same tired old facts over and over again. And then even after you’ve researched it for years, the things you think are true turn out not to be true. You think you finally have the people who were there figured out, only to find that you’re wrong about them. Different sources say different things about the events and the people who were there. And then once in a while, you come across something - a video that only lasts a few seconds or a first-hand account, and you’ve never seen it before even though you’ve been looking for this kind of thing for years. Something about Chernobyl and how hard it makes you dig to find anything genuine about it just reels me in.
