Me taking my son to his bus this morning. I had 2 share. Over the last 3 yrs with the exception of 2 San Diego Police my experience with SDPD has been unjust, incompetent, inexperienced, abuse of power. While I dont feel this way about all SDPD, I am sharing my personal experience. I continue to be disappointed at the behavior of SDPD. Their job is to protect and serve. This morning I take my son to his bus stop on 25th street and here a cop is pulling out of Jack in the box halfway into the street to almost cause a multi car accident, didn't try to back his car up, sits right half way in the street, makes us go around him all while yelling and waving his hands angrily to hurry the fxoxo up really? In the culture we live in today, I don't care what race you are, what your culture, political background, status, rock you live under, rap music is a part of our culture and even if you don't listen to it your children are. What I liked about Nipsey Hussle as I raise 2 teenagers is that he encouraged thru his music GOD, loyalty to family, be dedicated, hard work, hussle, oh and support your community and buy buildings. As a parent my kids listen to music I like and music I don' t like but I would rather them listen to content that will help them in life and struggles then music with no content at all. It has taken approximately 4 years for these 2 plants to blossom. Nothing seemed to grow in this yard of mine but look my 1st flowers yay! GOD is clearing the way. They say plant your seeds and your garden will grow. The road is not easy in fact I'm walking a very hard road in my life but if I can just encourage you to be strong/keep going what your going thru will pass keep the faith. Yesterday was Rich 1st day of school. He didn't want a picture so I took a picture of the bus lol..I was so emotional yesterday because this is a new chapter in his life.
