-OR she was actually a really loving mother, and the reason Petyr is like that is bc he felt like he had to crawl his way to the top bc his mother deserved more than a paltry existence on the edge of the continent. This version of her was super affectionate and witty and very involved but died when Petyr was at Riverrun. And giving Sansa her name is still some weird Freudian thing

-she was definitely a very sharp woman. I think that his dad was basically a fumbling buffoon, so her and Petyr had some form of disdain for him together. That one quote that’s like father and daughter look down on the mother together. But gender inverted. He gets a lot of his shrewd personality from his mother

-she definitely was very thin and waifish, bordering on emaciated. It’s where Petyr gets his small stature from. Hollow cheeks and bird bone arms. Dies from some wasting disease or a fever or something in her late 30s, while Petyr is at Riverrun. If she likes him, she doesn’t write to him bc she doesn’t want him to worry and wants him to focus on climbing that ladder. If she doesn’t like him she doesn’t write to him bc she doesn’t want to see him in her last moments she’s already miserable enough why should she have to look at her chud son

-She was a younger daughter or cousin of a minor house like Cox or Hawick in the Saltpans. She grew up visiting the Whents at Harrenhal with her family, and had lots of stories to tell Petyr when he was a child. So when he eventually obtains the castle he feels like it’s his birthright in some way.
