first, fight me. after that, tell me. and then finally, mourn me.
Fight Me: I will write a drabble out my character fighting with/or against yours.
↱ AU GONYOOXSOJIN - All drabbles belong to the same AU where Gongyoo and Sojin are married.
Sojin peeled herself off the ground, blood trickling from a busted lip and red dirt coating her white outfit. She ignored the blood and immediately turned her attention towards the man who had caused the accident, shoving him roughly square in the chest. "What was that about, huh? They weren't even throwing the ball to you, they were throwing it home, you weren't going to get me out. That was unnecessary!" The man recovered from the shock of such fire coming from such a small woman and was immediately in her face, calling her names and yelling at her.
Offer Me
Offer Me: I’ll write a drabble about my character giving yours a gift.
↱ AU HAYIXSOJIN
Sojin bounded through her small apartment like a bat out of Hell. It was very rare that she had extra money to spend on gifts for people but the moment she had seen it she knew Hayi had to have it. It had been pure luck that drew the petite brunette to the small shop but once she entered, she knew it was fate that had brought her there. Sliding down the hall, her socks slipping down the tiled hall at dangerous speeds, she crashed into the door of her room but was barely fazed as she threw the door open and disappeared from sight.
nurse me yo ~
Nurse Me: I’ll write a drabble about my character healing yours.
Sojin pulled the glass thermometer from Gong Yoo's mouth, an exasperated sigh passing through her lips as she read the numbers. She wanted to shove him off of the small bed but the pitiful look on his face kept her closer to concerned than annoyed. He peeked up at her, his face covered in a sheen of sweat, his eyes large and ingenuous from behind the floral duvet. "What's my diagnosis, doctor? Am I going to live? " He croaked out, the simple act of speaking seeming to cause him discomfort.

-- here's to you, kid ;
It wasn’t typical of Gongyoo to take a walk, as a matter of fact it wasn’t typical that he even second guessed the use of his car but nonetheless — he felt as though he hadn’t had fresh air in a while.
He looked around the park’s path, the cliches bared themselves truer than ever. Crisp winds kissed his skin so softly that he almost regretted wearing a t-shirt, but at the same time the sun gave him a kind of envelope of tenderness that made him forget that he was walking. Walking, walking, and walking. Steps, one over the other with his hands swinging one way and another. The sound of the insides of the pant legs of his jeans interrupted it a bit as he tried to dodge something that came towards him full speed.
Of a child.
The girl pulled at his hand and mumbled something with a big and only half-way toothless smile, Gongyoo smiled softly but looked around in sight of a desperate parent. She put her arms up and tugged at his shirt, automatically hugging his neck tightly when he bent down simply to try to understand what she was saying.
"Hey, where’s your mom?" He stood up, letting the girl rest on his arm and his chest while she pointed forward.
Off the park’s path, but nonetheless, forward.
Sojin awoke from her nap, a sense of panic snapping her body from its slumber much like the sensation of falling would. She wasn't sure how long ago she had fallen asleep, she wasn't even sure how she had managed to do something so ridiculously stupid. She had taken Ha Nul out to the park, as the small girl had been requesting day after day. Sojin had finally managed to clear a day of all work or errands and grant her daughters request. They had been eating their lunch, or had they been watching the puppies that were just down the hill.
Sojin shot to her feet, cursing herself for being so irresponsible, and began frantically searching for her daughter. Ha Nul was the only thing she felt she had ever done right, the sunshine of her life, and Sojin could feel her world crashing around her. She had gone through so much, survived and sacrificed so much for Ha Nul; losing her now would kill the single mother.
Sojin rounded a corner, the bushes slowly retreating from her line of sight, revealing her daughter. She breathed a sigh of relief but could feel the sense of dread quickly claim it's place in her chest once more as she saw a strange man had a hold of her. She rushed towards him at a speed she wasn't even aware she was capable of, yanking her from his arms with no regard for him. She looked into her daughters eyes, tears welling in her own as she held her in one arm and used the other hand to smooth the raven girls from the little girls face. "Ha Nul, my sweet baby, don't ever leave me like that. I nearly died of fright." She clutched her daughter close to her chest, trying to quell the horrible ball of feelings in her chest.
For the first time, she looked up and addressed the man who had been holding Ha Nul, her voice filled with hesitation. "T-thank you for returning my daughter." she hardly sounded thankful, skepticism leaking into her words as she eyed him suspiciously.
엄마가 도와줘요| Mark and Sojin
Mark smiled, hugging back, not really wanting to let go, like a child who’d come home after a long time of being away. Mark smiled and walked in. He smiled more when he saw Ha Nul. “Is that my Ha Nul?” he laughed going over and smiling at the girl, he picked her up and gave her a cuddle. “You’re the only other woman in my life, I missed you.” Mark smiled, and then looked at Sojin “How’s she been while I was gone.” Mark said putting the girl back in the playpen, and going to talk more with Sojin, he needed to talk to her about things, that it wasn’t appropriate to talk about in front of the little girl.
"Mom", Mark said quietly, "I’m sorry I haven’t been in contact for a while" Mark looked down. "I didn’t think my mother would call you if I asked her too, I mean I barely managed to get her to make a phone call to one person." Mark shifted a little. He didn’t like talking about his ‘mother’ to Sojin. In his eyes she was just the woman who abandoned him when he couldn’t be perfect. But she was still unfortunately his next of kin so was the one called when anything happened to him. "I was in hospital." Mark shifted again.
Mark didn’t really know how to tell Sojin, he knew she knew when he was 18 he tried to take his life, and he knew how what he was about to say sounded like he was trying again. “I jumped into traffic.” Mark said quietly, “My parents tried to send my back to America to live with my grandparents and my brother.” Mark couldn’t help but burst into tears. He didn’t cry often, he hated crying, he hated looking so weak. “I’m sorry.” he whispered, trying to control his crying not wanting to alert Ha Nul to anything.
Sojin watched Mark carefully, her eyes scanning every inch of him out of concern. He looked fine, considering it all, and he even wore a genuine smile, which was a good sign. She was a worrier, and she knew that about herself. It was something she could manage but never get rid of. Unfortunately, or fortunately depending on who you asked, he'd always have Mama Bear Sojin watching his back and worrying herself to death over him. A lopsided grin blossomed onto her face as he picked Ha Nul up and held her close. It warmed her heart to know that though Ha Nul was likely going to be Sojin's only child, she'd never be alone; she'd have an older brother in Mark.
Sojin made her way back to the kitchen, a smile lingering on her lips as she went back to cutting vegetables. "She's been great, honestly. Getting smarter and smarter everyday. She's shooting up like a tree, too. She'll be taller than me in no time." Sojin gave a dramatic huff before laughing softly, turning to face him as she entered the small cooking area. Her eyebrows furrowed in confusion at the tone of his voice, hearing the sorrow and grief that coated his words. Her eyes searched his, hoping to find the answers to what she needed to do to fix his pain but saw none of the answers she needed.
She listened to him for a moment, nodding her head slowly as she pursed her lips into a thin line. She worried about him constantly, like he was her own flesh and blood and it angered her that his mom didn't care for him a fraction of what Sojin did. He was a wonderful boy and didn't deserve to be dismissed by that wretched woman. Without saying a word, she grabbed the back of his head to lean him down so she could plant a kiss on his forehead. She offered him a warm smile as she pulled away, a petite hand reaching up to stroke his cheek. "Don't be sorry. I'm just glad you're okay. Just don't worry me like that again, okay?" She chose her words very carefully, not wanting him to feel any more ashamed than he already was. Sojin would never judge him and wanted him to feel like there was an open door of communication between the two. "Do you need anything, though? Do you need to stay here awhile?" She tried to make the question sound casual, though it was anything but.

엄마가 도와줘요| Mark and Sojin
Mark was glad that he’d been able to go to Sojin’s today. He’d called ahead so she knew he was coming, but he hadn’t been able to tell her why he’d been MIA for the past while. He didn’t even know how to say what happened over the phone. He was so stressed out he didn’t even know what exactly was going on in his life any more. He was back to where he was when he was 18 and moved out of his parents house because he couldn’t cope with them any more. He always felt like he was safe when he was with Sojin, she was like his mom. More than his actual mom was and that hurt a little. But at the same time she was everything he needed.
He loved Sojin, he loved her unconditionally, like a child. But at the same time he tried to keep parts of him away from her. The part of him that went out and got as drunk as he could afford and then went home with someone, wanting to feel some form of acceptance. He knocked on her door, and then stood back, he knew she would come and get him, and he was pretty sure that she would forgive him for not telling her before hand. He bit his lip a little. He didn’t wanna hurt her but he had no choice, he had to tell her what was going on.
And then there was his problems with his personal life, and then he was so behind on school, and he hadn’t be working while he was in hospital. Mark would never ask Sojin for food, but he had passed out on her once, towards the end of a month, because his wages never covered the whole month and he ended up lasting on nearly nothing. One month, the month he’d passed out on Sojin, he’d only been living on packs of Sugar to keep his blood sugar up.
"Mom" he said when Sojin opened the door. He always said it, he felt like she was his mom and unless she really told him never to say it again he would keep on saying it. He never said it if they were in public because that would be weird. He offered a shy smile, knowing that he still looked a bit beat up from what had happened.
Sojin busily shuffled around the kitchen, humming a soft song as she did her best to prepare an extravagant meal. Bulgogi, kimchi goksu, kimbap, even tteokbokki ingredients sat scattered around the small room, the fragrances filling the air and making the petite brunette's stomach grumble loudly. It was rare for her to cook such large meals, especially since it was usually only Ha Nul, her three year old, and herself that ate, but Mark had called her up and after his absence, for what reason she wasn't sure yet, she decided he needed a welcome home present.
To most it would seem as if Sojin was his mother, though when it came to a family resemblance the only thing the two shared was their radiant eyesmiles, and as far as Sojin was concerned Mark was her child. He was grown, in terms of age at least, but he was someone that needed guidance and affection and she wasn't going to deny the sweet boy either of those things. She had taken to him instantly and though she had her own child to take care of, she made sure he knew he was always welcomed in her household, no matter what he needed.
Sojin looked up from the meal she was cooking as the sound of knocking reached her ears. She knew who it was, without question, and hurried to answer the door. Wiping her hands on her apron before shooting a look towards Ha Nul, who was preoccupied in her play pen. "No wild parties, missy. I'll be right back." She wagged a reprimanding finger, a smile on her face as she made her way to the door. She grabbed the handle, twisting it open, and squealed softly as she saw Mark's face. Without hesitating or asking for permission, she pulled him in for a bone crushing hug. He was a good deal taller than her, especially when she was in flats, but she hardly took note of it as she embraced his frame. "Come in, come in, honeybunch! The food is almost ready. Ha Nul is in her play pen, I know she's excited to see you." She placed a gentle hand on his back, guiding him into the small apartment.
You Deserve Better && [CSH && PSJ] - Past
Trips back to Seoul were a rare occurrence for the two Park girls. Ha Nu's dad did his very best to keep them chained to the house due to his own guilty conscience. Despite his violent temper and controlling ways, he was smart enough to understand that Sojin's family would start to worry and poke their noses where they didn't belong if he didn't allow Sojin and Ha Nul to go see them at some point. Sojin couldn't be more relieved to escape the house with her baby girl, especially after the rather nasty week she had experienced. He had done his best to avoid her face, though it didn't necessarily turn out that way for him, unfortunately. After a particularly awful spat about dinner being late, he had smacked her across the cheek, her face colliding with the edge of their dresser. The result was half of her face swelling, turning a nasty mix of blues and purples. The marking was now green and black, the sign of a healing bruise but Sojin had thoroughly covered it with makeup, making sure her parents and sister were none the wiser. She didn't even want to think of what they'd say if they saw the bruise on her face, let alone the several markings that littered her stomach, ribs, and back.
Sojin was more than aware that everyone knew why the visits became less frequent. Anyone who knew her, who knew what type of person she was, knew something was off. After seeing how she acted around her boyfriend, so timid and subservient, there was no question what happened behind closed doors. They didn't need to see the bruises to know she was a beaten women, every part of her demeanor revealed it. She was embarrassed to ask for help and also quite hesitant to leave him for Ha Nul's sake. She loved her daddy and though he treated Sojin with reckless abandon, he was always so sweet and kind towards their daughter. It was so much more complicated than those on the outside could ever comprehend. It wasn't as simple as to just cut him out and move on, they had history together; they had made a tiny person together.
Sojin had grown tired of her sister trying to hint at relocating her back to Seoul, away from her boyfriend, and decided that now was as good as time as any to stop by and surprise her friend, Seunghyun- after all, she couldn't guarantee when she'd see him again. He was a rock of sort to Sojin, though she'd never put that type of pressure on him by saying anything of the sorts out loud. He was smart, kept his head on straight, and knew when not to press matters when it came to private lives and that was what she needed at the moment. Someone she could talk to, make her feel some sense of normalcy, even if just for an hour or two. She knocked lightly on his door, hoping he'd be home and she wouldn't have to go home, call him, and actually plan something out. She much preferred the thought of surprising him after their long time apart.
sojin being unbearably sexy.
