Ingredients: 1 cup candied pecans, chopped. 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened. 1/2 cup brown sugar. 1/4 cup granulated sugar. 1 egg. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract. 1 and 1/4 cups all-purpose flour. 1/2 teaspoon baking soda. 1/4 teaspoon salt.
Instructions: Preheat the oven to 350F 175C and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. In a mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy. Add the egg and vanilla extract to the mixture, and beat until well combined. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Fold in the chopped candied pecans.
