things won’t always be as hard as they are now

Your bad days will never invalidate all the good in you. You are still every extraordinary quality even in your darkest moments. Nothing can take that away. Even when your depression locks you away in your room for two weeks, you’re still adventurous and creative and hard working. Even when your anxiety isolates you from the people you care about, you’re still loving and kind and worth being around. Your habits and your mental wellbeing may be disordered but who you are cannot be.

you don’t know everything, you aren’t always right. that doesn’t make you stupid

Working to change the person your trauma made you into is a very hard thing to do, but becoming a better and happier you is the most important thing you can do for yourself.
