I usually don’t do this because my reading is typically very private, but I have been truly embracing my personal library lately. Finally had the time to pick up one of my favorite current reads.
So, without further ado, here are excerpts from Women Who Run With the Wolves that struck something deep within me tonight — a deep connection, a deep understanding. (Pages 185-190)

I have been playing Skyrim for years now, and every year I try finding new ways to challenge myself and make the game feel fresh again.
As someone who usually plays Breton, Bosmer, Dunmer, or even Khajiit, I’ve learned the ins and outs of those races pretty well over time.
But there was always one race I never really touched:
Argonians.
I never had much interest in them because the race just never felt like it fit me personally. But recently, my very creative (and very autistic) brain came up with a build/challenge that somehow made Argonians insanely fun to play.
So, I introduce to you:
“The Raptor Challenge.”
A survival-focused Skyrim challenge inspired by feathered raptors/dromaeosaurs — built around speed, aggression, hunting, scavenging, and pack behavior.

A survival challenge build focused on speed, aggression, hunting behavior, and immersive roleplay inspired by feathered dromaeosaurs/raptors.
Built around vanilla Skyrim gameplay + DLCs/Anniversary Edition content.
!! Mods are completely allowed and encouraged if you want to expand the experience. !!

Core Idea:
You are not a knight, mage, or hero.
You are a predator.
Your character relies on:

→ If you have the DLC and want to hang out in Solstheim, then the boat ride there and back is acceptable.

Being a human barometer is genuinely the most annoying thing I live with. I swear I got yanked into a comic book and was given the worst possible power/mutation known to man.
It’s been raining off and on for the past three days—harsh rain. And yeah, geographically it makes sense why we get so much of it…
BUT CAN IT FUCK OFF??
I am so tired of my heart acting like I just chugged three Red Bulls back-to-back.
Like this morning for example: I woke up at exactly 6am (before my alarm, mind you) because my heart was racing so hard it literally ripped me straight out of REM sleep.
And it’s been an hour.
An entire hour.
And I’m still dealing with palpitations.
It feels like butterflies in my chest trying to claw their way up my throat.
Being a human barometer is genuinely the most annoying thing I live with. I swear I got yanked into a comic book and was given the worst possible power/mutation known to man.

I just had a vivid memory of waking up in the middle of the night, grabbing my chocolate bunny from Easter, taking a massive bite in my stupor, staying conscious just long enough to put the bunny back in its basket… and then immediately passing out after I swallowed the chocolate.
