Cleo's been my best friend since I was 15, I'm going to be 31 in August and she's truly been by my side through everything-growing up, going off to school, losing my mom. I've been so lucky to share so much of my life with her and have my sweet pea for as long as I have.

I noticed earlier last month that something was changing with her. She wasn't as energetic, not as interested in food, and was losing weight.

After consulting with our vet, we were presented with a few potential diagnoses, and unfortunately as we've done more testing it's been narrowed down to a prognosis no one wants. My sweet girl has kidney failure.

At this point, all we can do is support her and keep her comfortable with palliative care until she decides she's ready to go.

We've already had quite a few vets bills along the way, and as it stands to let her pass peacefully, and more importantly bring her home, it's probably going to cost around $900 cad to do so.

I've been so lucky to have a wonderful community support the care for our sweet muppet so far, but we still need help. Anything counts and even a share to boost this would make a world of difference in making sure my angel Cleo gets to go on her own terms with the dignity she deserves.
