The joke I’ve been telling myself is that this picture illustrates my psychological state in anticipation of Wayward Son. But actually, I just love this moment in Carry On, in which Baz comforts and shields Simon after the Humdrum attack, even when he’s at his weakest. Those small gestures that betray just how much Baz loves Simon get me every dang time.

Simon’s hiding his face in my chest, and I hold him tighter.

baz is 100% the kind of guy that secretly reads poetry books and underlines his favourite quotes, maybe sticks a post-it note in there too for really special ones

In a weird act of cosmic synchronicity, my birthday landed on the very day that my Tumblr traversed 5,000 followers and my Twitter reached 1,000 followers. That said, being so honored to have so many of you watching my work, I felt it appropriate to celebrate with some fanart, as that is what brought most of you here.

This is the first in a 3-part series of Carry On-inspired images I’m calling “A Boy In My Arms.” They will depict scenes throughout a day of Simon and Baz’s happy ending. 

This one is “Sunrise.” The next (to be posted May 11) is “Sunset” to be followed by “Midnight” (to be posted May 18).

So again, this trio of images has been rendered in a limited palette, each one illustrating a part of a day in Simon and Baz’s happy ending (which I REALLY HOPE THEY GET. *ahem*). The three-piece set is just my small way of saying, “Thanks for being here.” ❤️
