lets talk about something else, we moved past the need of motorsports, what gax pirates of the caribbean au looks like?
first of all Pirates of the caribbeans is one of my favourite sagas EVER, with At World's End being in my top four movies ever. So I have many thoughts.
I know it's probably obvious but. Max as Davy Jones. Captain Verstappen at the helm of the Flying Dutchman... PLEASE !!!!! NEED THAT !!!!! I can see Daniel being his second in command, honestly. Everyone who's at Redbull is on the ship with him of course.
My idea is that George is basically Calypso. During one of his sales Max ""stumbles"" into him, George has taken human form and is pretending to be a shipwrecked person. Max, though reluctant at first, agrees to help him and let him off at the first harbour they'll encounter. Max falls for George, obviously, he goes sooooooo down bad for him. George, being a literal divinity, is aware of this, but toys with him.
When they finally reach a harbour Max gets off with George to bid farewell, they end up having sex (as one does). Now, see my vision: I'm picturing them laying on the sand on a beach, Max unable to let George go, watching the ship docked in a near-by distance. George asks Max his deepest dream, if he could ask for anything in the world and that he would make it happen in an instant. Max takes it as a joke of course, but replies seriously. He wish to go overseas forever, no bounds to land, the possibility to be Captain of the Dutchman forever. George kinda jokes, "not even bound to me?", they kiss again. George tells him if that's truly his biggest wish, then he'll grant it to him. Max still thinks he's messing with him, but then George reveals his true form.
At this point George does grant him his wish, but here comes the catch. 10 years at sea, only one day on land, and Max's duty is to help people who die at sea cross to the other world (movie canon). From here it follows movie canon, Max finally goes on land after ten years but doesn't find George. Again, movie canon, so I wouldn't include this in a fic tbh. Skip time perhaps?
How would their story end I wonder... 🤔🤔🤔 differently from the movie if I have any say in it (and I do). I just keep thinking about Max being so obsessed with George he wouldn't think twice to cut his heart open for him. UGH.

While Max is still cap of the Dutchman (I can't see him as anything else help), perhaps set in a universe where he does respect his pact with Calypso, though he's not in love with her, but this time George is at head of the British Royal Navy. He finds the chest with Max's heart under order of the king (tempted to make him Toto even if he's Austrian idgaf anything for the slander) and commands Max&the Dutchman around, though they end up falling for each other. As you can see this idea is kess thought than davy jones x calypso.
I'm also wondering how, in both case, i can make other characters fit in🤔 wondering wondering, thoughts and ideas flying in my head.
