Whenyou heard that you would be debuting in about a year, you wereabsolutely over the moon. You'd finally get to perform with four ofyour best friends as a group and your dreams would come true. Then,your manager decided to crush your excitement by telling you thatyou'd be debuting in two countries at once: Korea and China. Cool,you'd have a bigger audience, but it would also mean more time spentpracticing, recording and doing whatever necessary for your debut tobe successful, especially for you, as you couldn't speak a word ofChinese. Luckily, your boyfriend just so happened to be Chinese, sohe could help you study.
”Babe,that's not how you pronounce it. If you say it like that, you'reasking for dumplings with soup.”
”UUUUGH.I'm trying, okay? Sicheng why is this so hard?”
”Hey,it's okay. It happens.” he says, chuckling.
”Don'tlaugh at me.” you say, almost whining.
”I'mserious. I can hardly stand myself, let alone someone who’s just repeating everything I say in an annoying voice.” you say, frustration very clear in your tone, making yourboyfriend feel sorry towards you.
”I'msorry baby.” your boyfriend apologises, clearly not very sorry.
”That'snot how you should be talking to your wonderful boyfriend who is kindenough to help you with your debut.”
”Whatever.I'll get one of the members to teach me.” you say, getting up fromyour chair.
”Noooooo,I love teaching you.” your boyfriend whines, grabbing onto yourarm.
”Don'tyou have better things to do anyway? I'm assuming you have hobbies orsomething.”
”Myhobby is making fun of you when you talk, so I'm just fine righthere.”
Youdon't even bother answering him at this point. You're stressed outand exhausted, and as much as you love your boyfriend and his sillyantics, you're just not feeling any of it right now. You can onlystare at the man sitting next to you, barely managing to keepyourself together, even though you feel like crying.
”Baby...”the older man says, noticing your expression. His own instantly turnsinto one full of worry and slight sadness.
”Don'tlook at me like that. I don't need your pity.” you sigh.
”No.No no no no, sweetheart. It's not pity. I'm just sorry that I didn'trealise how stressed you are. I know that I should've, but I was toobusy being foolish. I'm so sorry.” He gets up and pulls you in for ahug, and you bury your face against his chest, tears threatening tofall.
”Iknow you'll be great when you debut, baby. You're so talented andhard-working. I'm very, very proud of you.”

”Ilove you, too. How about we take a little break? We could go get somebubble tea if you want?”
