So to clarify
NO I DID NOT FORGET THE EARLY PAGES OF HOMESTUCK
I read every bit of it and when I watched the show with my friends we were icked by how long the bit was going on to the point the new Homestuck in our server WHO NEVER READ HOMESTUCK mind you was explained the joke and still felt weird about how the bit was overly dragged on for too long!!
If it was a one liner I would have looked over it and laughed but it was like 5-10 so it was a whole minute of rose absolutely glazing Dave in a odd way.
Yes I'm aware they didn't know yet but also we could have gotten 2 more minutes of action seeing as there was another minute wasted for filler that I will not point out in fear of my ask box deciding to roast me alive if I share my opinions but still a small one liner is less impactful than a WHOLE MINUTE OF GLAZING
And for those of you asking I'm currently reading homestuck again for like the third time and I do work as the voice actor for damara , meenah , AS WELL AS vriska ON MULTIPLE PROJECTS you can find all over YouTube where I either read homestuck or voice act comics so let's not discredit a guy who's job is basically just Homestuck: the lifestyle
